probably won't name the nearly 200 of them but watch out for the Ukrainian SU-27, French Rafale and French Mirage pair as outstanding demos.

Due to the aircraft needing to deploy its outboard landing gear on take off to reach higher altitudes, it needs cars at the rear on landing to help with stability so the pilots don't tear off the wings on the tarmac

If you look closely on the U2 it doesn't have landing gear on the wings when it comes in to land as they get dropped after takeoff so the cars speed down telling the pilot to bank in a certain direction because it has to balance itself on just those 2 wheels on the center of the plane.

hi JC... U-2 plane have 2 small gearwheels on the far wing edge same as B-52

the two cars fit the stabilising wheels to the wings to allow the plane to taxi without falling to one side or the other.

not quite but the viewing area certainly allows good viewing aided by zoom lenses.
