Before there were legends like Dale Earnhardt or Jeff Gordon, there was Richard Petty. He raced from 1958-1992, accumulated 200 wins over his illustrious career and became the first driver in NASCAR history to win 7 championships. This is a tribute video for "The King" himself. Enjoy!

Richard Petty has always been my favorite driver for many years. Back in the '70's, he was very dominant on any track, I collected every slot car track, model cars, you name it!! I also have his iconic sunglasses from the '70's, five pairs that is!!! I'm still a big fan of his, even though not driving, but to see that 43 on the track now, needs a big win!!!

it would have been so hard for this man to call it a day as far as being a racecar driver goes so hard and even harder to be honest with yourself and say your not as competitive as you once were I wish he could have raced forever and kept winning but time doesn't stand still for nobody unfortunately he will always be the king of NASCAR will be a very sad day when he is no longer with us

Thanks man, was looking forward to it. My father is a huge Richard Fan, I'm sure he'll love this too. It's a shame Gordon couldn't go out on top, but then so few ever do. Anyway, Love the vid.

+Austin Fuller No man. I think it's time to move on. I've seen some guys make some pretty cool tributes (tributes to his career, 2015 season, Nr2003, etc.) I'm ready to make some other ones. I want to really focus on the overlooked and misunderstood drivers/people in NASCAR. My goal is to divulge some of their great qualities that some casual NASCAR fans don't see.
