@@aissatasy9888 I think you're blinded by his horrific actions to see that he's not wrong. I don't think he was able to articulate this until having been incarcerated however. It's not like he was intentionally comiting the crimes due to a well thought out philosophy, but rather having time to 1- stop using the drugs and dry out, and 2- have the time to truly contemplate his actions, the nature of his experience, and the nature of humanity in general. These two things need time to reflect upon- something incarceration provided him. He probably also had the time to read and study in a way that allowed him to quite eloquently express his ideas for one with very little education whatsoever.

What he is saying makes sense. He was able to do what he did because he had no connections, no responsibility, no preoccupation, and nothing to lose from his perspective. For him, everything was lost. In his own words, he had given up on happiness and love. No hope. No reason to keep restraining himself from feeling the only source of stimulation left for him: uninhibited carnal desire. Certainly, if left unrestrained, will destroy a soul.

His parents broke the trust and security every child is entitled to have guaranteed by their parental figures. It doesn't help that his cousin showed him all those disgusting Vietnam War photos of the deplorable things he did to civvies. RR did not have a fair chance, he was beaten mercilessly by his father and suffered brain damage. Had he not gone through all this darkness so early on, maybe he wouldn't have done the things he did. It's not entirely his fault, but you can't put the burden on someone other than himself. He chose to do what he did and he knew it. Anyway, TL;DR - had RR not seen what he had seen as a kid he wouldn't have become the Night Prowler.

If he was putting on some kind of "evil" act he did a pretty job of it. The way his eyes twitch and his face contorts really makes me wonder if he was a case of pure possession. He could seem normal at times with an almost mousy voice but at other times he would legit look like a different person with a totally different voice. For a serial killer he really took the persona to a new level of trying to keep it as evil as possible at all times. The fact that it happened around Hollywood feels almost straight out of a movie. Definitely one of the more theatrical ones. On a weird note, Ramirez and Aileen Wuornos have the type of eyes that just radiate some type of energy. If you look at the eyes and block the rest out you will see it. They said Bundy's eyes would turn black and he would emit a foul odor when speaking of his crimes, though I have never seen video evidence of it. With Ramirez, he was doing that full time, dude went out of his way to smell horrible to increase his Satanic image. Talk about dedication lol.

By reading some C.G Jung you get the answer to that. Human psychology is scary, scarier than any other form of scnience/literature you can think of. The reason behind the audience´s primitive reactions and howls of contempt in front of a psychopathic killer is being given a deep analysis in his psychological studies. Well, Jordan P. Peterson has given a bunch of good lectures based on Jungian ideas too. To sum up, human conscios (ego, persona) is just a small fraction of human psyche, deep down in the unconscious lies most of who we really are/what has passed down genetically to us and what defines the Self.

He would recite a script in order to sound intelligent, insightful, & profound, but if you watch his interviews, you'll see that for most questions that he didn't have some sort of script memorized, he would either give answers that weren't very articulate, or say "no comment." His intellect was absolutely no match for the truly bright killers, such as Ted Bundy, Ed Keller, Rodney Alcala, Ted Kaczynski, & others. He was likely of average intelligence, nothing special, his only truly "unique" characteristics being his lust for violence & murder. Someone like Bundy or Kepler would've made him look ridiculously unremarkable.

I knew RR in person. Visited him in San Quentin Prison when he was on death row, talked to him in the phone and was pen pals with him for a few years. He used to send me poems and drawings too. He was not innocent, bit he did not do all that they said he did. He was beautiful. He's not a horrible person.

Really hope you're trolling. Although, I know there are a lot of deluded people around who do this sort of thing. The fact you claim someone who murdered people at random wasn't a horrible person is downright stupidity. I'm sure you'd soon change your view if one of your family/friends had been a victim.

@@KittentheFennecFox true. I think that's one of the ways a lot of serial killers can persuade people to trust them because they come across as convincing and trustworthy. But its a good deception. Like Ted Bundy was able to persuade young girls to help him put stuff away in his car.

yes! i’ve been trying to find a comment that mentions his acid use and you’re the first one. he did A LOT of acid in fact, which undoubtedly correlated with why he thought the way he thought. those who had never done acid would never be able to understand or imagine what it’s like until they have taken it; truly unexplainable experience. i see how it affected him for sure. it certainly altered the way he viewed things, and humans, as acid normally does.
