I'm struggling with despair over humanity, resentful of the Consciousness that puts us through unbearable lessons of suffering. Born in 1977 I've lived Columbine, 9/11, mass shootings, housing crises, watched genocides unfold, grieve for the species we exterminate, mourn George Floyd, and cannot erase from my consciousness the innumerable stories of horrendous abuse. I chant over and over that I don't want to return to Earth in next lifetimes. I needed the last ten minutes of this video so very much.

Thank you for this presentation. I’m having an issue with the supposed delusional states of “conspiracy theorist” that was alluded to in this talk. Years ago I was entangled with what society might call a sociopath. There was sone very atrocious, unimaginable behavior that took place. Now I am assuming this type of dynamic can also occur on a more collective/societal context. For example groups, organizations, governments, agencies acting out similar patterns/ behaviors/ etc. What I experienced in my personal life could very well have been a projection of my inner psyche, and this manifested a predator in my life. Why can’t this occur in a more collective scale where we have victim/victimizer dynamics actually manifesting in reality? From what I understood in this lecture was that such things are perhaps paranoid delusions. I’m not saying Q Anon is legit - I think its insane. I’m referring to legitimate dysfunctional and destructive dynamics in the collective where we have actual predators and aggressive, manipulative, deceitful behavior from one subsection (people in power) of humanity towards another which requires both sides to wake up and heal the contents in their psyche so as to reconcile the issues facing us in the real world. Hopefully someone can shed sone light on this very confusing matter.

I loved everything about this lecture, except this confusing part at 1:20:25 where he paraphrases QAnon conspiracy theories and includes "putting a [mandatory] mask on is a suppression of my freedom" + "I can't breathe freely if I have a mask on, and therefore I'm going to jeopardize...(trails off)" I'd really love more explanation of how these particular concepts "get activated in the deep underworld of the perinatal psyche" at this time, since these two examples don't seem in any way illogical or fallacious, even if they are presently maligned by the sociopolitical majority.

How to endure that can be made palatable by taking the spiritual path in earnest no guarantee but the shamanic path may initiate.another golden age as that which followed the late Bronze Age collapse we of now shall never know but an expression of will that might culminate within a distant future, That is certainly something certainly a reason beyond ourselves to aspire selflessly towards.

It was a good video and Tarnas is a well meaning guy, but there's some issues he's not aware of though. In fact, I googled his astral map and found he is an extravert feeling-sensation type person. No wonder all his emotional side, stemming from 4 of his planets in water signs, including his moon, never mind the Briggs-Meyers kind of personality tests, whatsoever. Don't be fooled by his emotional side and the seemingly tendency to shyness, as extraversion has nothing to do with that but solely with the relation that someone has with himself versus the world. Extraverts prefer the object over the subject. It's not that he is a pure extravet, cause feeling-sensation type would make him a mixed type, but then he has gemini ascending, which makes him definitely inclined to extraversion. The problem with him is that he has no fire in his map. That explains why, in spite of having discovered archetypal astrology and valuing simbolic language, actually can't get over his material side and extract all the consequences of a simbolic life....and that explains why at some point he says that we didn't choose to live in times like these...none of us wanted...and so forth...see what I mean... he's still dealing with materialistic worldviews....and when he says things like old views have to collapse, etc, he doesn't realize he's fighting against it. Tarnas ends up his book by saying we must embrace the feminine in a sort of conjunctio oppositorum, but then he thinks that has something to do with emotionality..no no..dear. He has to come to terms with all the 4 psychic funtions of the Self..and being also sensation his most predominant non rational function, no wonder also Tarnas admires that psychedelic ranting lunatic Stanislav Grov....he really doesn't understand Junguian psychology at full lenght because despite everything it is the best way to approach someone to the irrational and the numinous...reading Cosmometry, by Marshall Lefferts would do him good, since he is so sensation prone, better still Walter Russell... Even Jung, for that matter, who had a wild interior life, was afraid to pursue his ideas to the full extend, in spite of being light years ahead of the current human affairs, and so he settled with conformity at some point. After having explored.all the ideas and also using astrology, he could have followed a more assertive metaphysically view of humanity and the universe, like plato or plotinus... People like them just go up untill they reach the rational border, and they solve the Sphinx enigma, but only intellectually, like Oedipus. That's why he crumbled afterwards. Like Oedipus, they still have a way ahead, opening their minds, untill they get to Colonna. Since when Biden is not a stupid moron? Much worse than that in fact....Back to order we are? No way! Just think for a sec if you can, how many wars America engaged in under Trump's admin? Compare that with the bellicose speeches and actions of Biden...back to order huh?!
