As a 57 year Cowboys fan whose childhood hero was Captain Comeback, I’d like to say thank you! As a person who absolutely loves his team, through thick and thin, I can honestly say that I’m happy to have been born when I was. I got to go through “The Team That Can’t Win The Big Game” period, then 5 SBs with 2 victories, another big dip and a one win season. Then the sale and the resurrection; revenge against the Niners, which was so sweet and 3 Super Bowls and 3 victories!! Now, in another LONG stretch with ZERO Chips in sight. They need to win a Chip while Micah is young!!!

Can you imagine what a guy with his abilities would do in this league now? the way they pamper the QB's now, I wonder what kind of stats he would have put up and how many more Superbowl rings he would have hmmmm. His last season at age of 37 he threw for 3600yds comp% of 60% they ran as a team for over 2500. With today's sports science and nutrition, this guy would have been a Top 3 QB in the league for years.

I grew up in 1970's Dallas. Roger remains the only sports hero I've ever had. I could write 10 pages, but a main thing that sticks out is my family and all Dallas fans never thought Dallas was out of the game when behind in the 4th QTR, with Roger at QB. So many comebacks, but even in both close Super Bowl losses to Steelers, he rallied team with late TDs to where it felt like he just ran out of time.

@@briancusack4386 Pitt had betr team in 10. Dallas did test them and they did. 13 I think we were even with them. Had we taken care of the ball outcome could have been different. Pearson fumble on opening drive killed potential score. Dropped td in a close Super Bowl is brutal. Super Bowl 30 Dallas much betr team than Pitt. Pitt could have won. We got the breaks. Evens out for Super Bowl 13.

@@scottdavidson7001 : As always, you make valid points, Scott. Yes, the Steelers got all the breaks in 13, but our 'Boys got the breaks in SB 30. Thus, it did even out. To this day, I still wonder where Neil O'Donnell was looking when he threw those two picks to Larry Brown. LB won SB MVP, and then signed a lucrative contract with Oakland in the off-season. He never did anything special for the Raiders though.

8:20 Sorry Roger to contradict, but ...Tom Brady wasn't drafted for his strengths. His strengths weren't there when he was drafted. Brady has Belichek to thank for his GOATness more than himself. If Brady goes to another coach 22 years ago ... he isn't the Brady we celebrate today. If Bledsoe doesn't get hurt ... again ... Tom Brady probably has a waaaaaay different career. Its about choices ... its about genetics ... its about college training ... but more than anything, becoming the GOAT requires dumb blind luck.

There is - absolutely - NO way for me to be able to understand EXACTLY what is in the thinking of the people who either design football helmets (&/or actually make them) as to WHY - exactly - football helmets aren’t made differently. A helmet should - ACTUALLY - protect the head of each & every football player, it ought to protect the players from either suffering from a concession &/or suffer from CTE. It seems to me that this particular “line of thinking” (namely - that a helmet ought to do a MUCH BETTER job in “protecting” a player, is - SO - TOTALLY -obvious to any & every person. Designing & manufacturing a helmet - SHOULD be a “NO-brainer” ! Otherwise, Today’s helmets are just simply made to be worn by football players as a hat/covering, NOT for REAL protection ! I’m essence, they just are a very sweaty & totally useless piece of equipment for a football player to need to wear !

@10:38 Dak actually played better vs the Rams Defense than Brady and Brees . Now do not get confused , Brady is the GOAT and Brees is top 10 all time. I just made an observation.

You are 100% right. Dak isn't Joe Montana but he DEFINITELY played better against the Rams defense than Brady and Brees. He played well enough in that game for Dallas to win. We just couldn't stop the run. The Rams defense is no joke which we all saw Sunday. Jared Goff cost the Rams the Super Bowl

@@DRock6906 we need 2 interior linemen on defense, desperately. We were exposed.

That's true. I hope we can pick up at least one good prospect in the draft or through free agency.

Brady is no doubt the GOAT. But Roger is Captain America.
