If he used scissors either he would have won or draw. If u think your opponent is gonna do this, do same. Mostly they try to make u think that way and not everyone is smart to not get manipulated. Also mimicking them makes u get more idea of their behaviour and pattern. Also one doesn't try to harm their self so if u mimick opponent in any situation u could be more safer. Also they will do something dumb to stop u mimicking. That's your chance. And 3 more benefits it has.
