Good tips. My whole game improved when I learned to make almost all 3-footers. So to "think positive" about longer putts, I would move half way closer to the hole and practice my stroke. I knew I could make that so I could see the longer putt rolling over my practice stroke line. Helped with confidence and positivity. Also makes lag putting easier.

Man, I’ve watched about a dozen of your videos and have really seen my game improve. I was apprehensive to start watching golf tip videos at first because I thought that I would get too much info in my head and just complicate things further. But I’ve picked up just a tip or two in each of your videos and never feel like I’m being over loaded with technicalities. Thanks so much for the lessons!
@brendansullivan157510 ай бұрын
@RickShielsPGA these videos have drastically improved my game. There are 100’s if not 1000’s of videos on youtube trying to fix your game. If I retain your info, slow it down while practicing, and then get the muscle memory, there are no betting instructions anywhere than yours. It sound weird but i literally love you man. You know how frustrating golf can be, but when you know and feel what you’re doing wrong and can fix it, it makes it a “challenge” instead of frustrating. I appreciate you so much my man thank you for every second you put into this for your fans and fans of golf 🙏🏼

Great video Rick. I don't hit the ball nearly as far as my playing partners do, so I try to keep my putting below 30 putts per round. This video definately will help me continue that. Thanks!

I love the tip of a tee upside down as a target! I've been trying this around the house and that little bit of positive feedback when knocking the tee over is surprisingly satisfying! I also tried the warm up drill of getting the green speed by putting to the edge of the green from short, medium, and long range before a par 3 round yesterday and I was even par after 5 holes for the first time in my life! My putting was dialed in. Thank you!

Great video Rick and thank you for the tips! I'll be trying out a few of those ideas in the future. But I do have an idea for a video. What about testing some Bettinardi putters? Nice job Rick. I watched this video a second time and took notes to refer back too occasionally just to keep it fresh. Some of these I do on a consistent basic but some I needed to be reminded of.
