A beautiful song and great singing from Ricky, Ricky , sings from his heart and soul and more. I have followed Ricky Scaggs singing now for more than 40 years, maybe longer as l am now 73 years old myself. Brilliant Ricky. ELIZABETH in❤❤❤❤ SCOTLAND ❤❤❤❤

In some miraculous way, this song bypasses my defenses. Childhood memories of a hot summer evening on the border of the Soviet Union (Finnish side) and this song plays on the radio of the tractor.

This should've been a #1 song.

nemesisgenius Yeah everything changed in 1990 chart method wise, And Garth Brooks was the new poster boy for the genre in that decade... Ricky had a great run in the 80’s and he still got in The Country Music Hall Of Fame so in the end it all worked out.

One of Ricky's best. Love jangly Rickenbacker on the fills. Drummer and upright bass player kill, too.

3:50 The last part of the video (In Memoriam), much too soon that Chris Austin and a few others had left after the unfortunate plane crash.

Not a single dislike ! So unusual for a KZfaq video. Just speaks to what a great catchy clean song Brother Ricky gave us with this one.

Yes I agree. This was one of the best songs Ricky performed. Ricky Skaggs had a piss poor manager that got him signed to a cheap ass record label and they were horrible at promoting his music. He left them and went to RCA and then started topping the charts. Ricky had a bad start to his career. It's a shame he didn't get the recognition he deserved.
