I don't know you, I've watched two of your videos. But having been in the Embroidery industry for well over 27 years. You have a great outlook on the future of your business. At our peak we had almost every conceivable method of imprinting , embroidering, sublimating,, transferring or what ever else you could think of. You have already started down this road. As long as you have a sales force or a method to keep the machines humming along you will do great. A) use consistent quality items. the shirts, caps, jackets that you choose , you will dial your machine into those products make them top shelf and you cant go wrong. make notes on what works and how to make it repeatable. You should be able to hand a notebook to a trainee and say set the machine up for this type of job. and it should be done. Use/ purchase quality supply's for your machines, don't feed them junk, you will always be chasing trouble. You mention doing caps. My biggest advise is. Tightly hooped caps that are smooth against the hoop frame will always turn out better then the ones that are sloppy or loose. Caps can NOT be run at high speeds. if you want quality, slow it down and find the best speed for the design to run without breaks or hiccups. I could go on but I think you get the idea. Everything you said is my exact story, except I have the MT 1501. I’m in about 3 months and was 100% new to embroidery. I absolutely love it and I was so proud of myself that I can thread it from scratch 😂. Keep up the good work, new subbie

Thanks for this video brotha, I just got my two head machine at a discount. I was looking for your video about the delivery process, but I can’t find it. I had big time issues with the delivery, and had to put the whole damn box in the garage until someone could come by and help me transfer it into the house.

You jumped in on the deep end! I started with a single needle machine, then a 12 needle and am now looking for a 15 needle machine. Thank's for sharing.

Wow man, I appreciate all of this info. I'm thinking of buying a small, single-head, 7-10 needle machine. I've been weighing that against just outsourcing for digitizing and the embroidery as just want to sell my designs on clothes, not do jobs for others. Your trials and tribulations definitely give me more to think about. It does, however, sound as if you have gained a lot of knowledge throughout all of this. Thanks! I definitely subbed and liked.

May be they treated you that way because you paid cash for your machine. They probably get something when people finance vs paying cash. There are places that do not like when you pay cash for big ticket items. They have something with the finance company where they are helping each other when people finance.

Great info- sounds like ricoma stinks at training. Everything you went through should have been taught during your training smh. They are good at marketing, but that seems about it.
