I'll tell you what leaves me speechless...and it ain't the view...that plane was built in the 50's and they're still flying it regularly on missions. That's a 70 year old plane. That's older than most people. I know the 52 is as well, but it doesn't fly at 70k feet.

The Karman line is at approximately 100km. 80% of the Earth's atmosphere is impossible to fly in. The U2 did not even get close to space. Even so, the Karman line is the point at which the speed an aircraft will need to travel to attain sufficient lift is greater than the orbital velocity at that altitude. There is still the thermosphere, which extends past Low Earth Orbit. So there is really blurred line when it comes to where space really starts.

Right, and also according to flat Earthers claims, would he not have crashed thru the "firmament/dome" at that altitude? I mean, They say the sun is inside the dome, & can be below the clouds. Well this is far above any cloud, yet far far away from the sun. So is he still inside the dome? Or is this just fake? Not trying to offend or insult anyone, I've just been researching a lot and trying to find a flat Earth explanation with evidence of what they claim. I can't seem to find any that makes any logical sense... They always just dismiss scientific evidence and get defensive without providing their own evidence or disproving the evidence there is, which both need to be done in order to "prove" the Flat Earth theory.
@TheCorrectionist19846 жыл бұрын
T. E. , if flatards listened to evidence and logic but they do not. If you showed them video of you shinning a leveled laser on boat and watching the dot move higher as the boat sails away, they will just say you're a shill or it was cgi or the laser was moved. If you took a die hard flatard with you and convinced him, the others would just say he sold out.
@TheCorrectionist19846 жыл бұрын
White CIS Cum , why even bother making that point because in video where a fisheye lens wouldn't even matter or there is no fisheye lens, you would just say it is fake. fisheye lens or fake is all you got. You will just make up any reason to avoid the evidence. and you do know that if it's a lens doesn't fake curvature in only one direction. A flat line at the top of the lens will curve down, and at the bottom half of the lens will curve up . There's no evidence of that in this video. But I'm happy to point you to video where you can't claim fish eye lens. But we all know you'll just say it's obviously cgi. Dunce.

@thepilotmaster7775 жыл бұрын
I'M Running Thaangs Then why arnt things on the ground round too?
@jonathanporter52235 жыл бұрын
@I'M Running Thaangs It's actually spelled "you're". And no, that isn't the curvature of the windows. The windows are basically the jets windshield. The pilot needs to see out the windshield in able to fly the jet. They wouldn't make a windshield that would distort his view while flying a multi-million dollar machine. Therefore, it's obviously the curvature of the Earth.
@jonathanporter52235 жыл бұрын
Seriously?!? Did you not watch the video?!? Or did you not pay attention at all!? Just look at the jet, it's common sense. The video clearly proves itself, so I don't get what you mean.
@jonathanporter52235 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't use Sarah Palin as a credible source for information. You need actual reputable sources for that. On the other hand, I might have nothing, but it's because I don't need anything. This video clearly proves my point and shows the curvature of the Earth. Plain and simple. Oh by the way, you forgot the Y and the O for the word you. The letter U isn't a word, its a letter. A word is two or more letters grouped together that give it meaning or significance.
@jonathanporter52235 жыл бұрын
Okay, broham. Sure thing. You just need to learn how to spell so you don't come across as such a buffoon. Then maybe people would actually take you seriously. You think you got me all figured out, don't you. Well, whatever helps you sleep at night. Cheers, homeslice.

Dang. I was completely emotional watching this. My childhood dream was to become a military aviator. I had a solid plan right out of high school. Join the Navy. Get through college. Then, go to OCS. All of that was swiftly shot down as the military DQ'd me for having a history of asthma when I was a kid. I had a serious asthma attack that left me hospitalized. Since that time, I had not had an asthma attack. I was physically fit by the time I graduated high school. Since my dream could not become a reality, I tried to figure out what I wanted to do. Fast forward 15 years later, I work in tech support. Not my dream job, but it pays the bills and keeps a roof over my head. I blame myself for not pursuing something in aviation.
