great video, looking forwards to the next one already. I have a funny feeling double decker got its name from the two different fillings inside which is all wrapped up in chocolate.

Good stuff , would be great ro see what Donnie carried . And did he do plenty of long 5hr plus rides 🙂 no idea about double deckers but as a kid i always assumed they referred to the old london double decker buses 😂

Mars bars are my 'chocolate' bar of choice on the bike (not racing). I used to think that cereal based sports bars would be better but at the end of the day it is just about getting the glucose in in a tolerable form. As for mints, they always leave my mouth furry! Ick... Forgive me if I have asked you this before, Simon, but what is the rucksack you are wearing? And (in case it is not covered in the next video) what are the shoe covers that Donnie uses? I am a sucker for anything in orange!
