Post Production Notes:
There IS a USB port underneath the power button. There is a rubber plug concealing and protecting it. Power will flow to a connected device only if the bike is on and the rider presses the "M" button to enable USB Mode. You can see a diagram of the location on page 5 of the display manual.

This ride review was on a public trail with other riders and pedestrians. For that reason, we did not use "Off Road Mode" though some of you may have noticed that we did, indeed, unlock the bike as evidenced by the display during the specifications section. The bike ships locked to 20mph top speed (pedal or throttle). We conducted this review in Class 3 mode. When we have access to private property with the right conditions to test the top speed including boost mode, we will demonstrate Off Road mode. There are other videos of this bike moving at a maximum speed of 35mph! If you've really got the need for speed, the Revv1 certainly outperforms anything from Super73.
The Revv1 does have a basic UL-2849 rating for the electrical system. As noted, the battery has not been UL-2271 certified and has no UL2271 stickers or markings. UL2271 is battery-specific, more rigorous, and now required for eBikes sold in places like New York City. We own many bikes without this certification, so it is not a deal breaker for us personally, but it would be nice to have for additional peace of mind.

Great review nice to see the ladies stepping in to the reviews for the café racer style e-bikes. Question regarding service, since they don’t have shops throughout the United States, what do you do? Do you just show up to a local bike shop and help me fix it we’ll figure it out together? Or are you just stuck working on it yourself? Doing my research, it seems like in order to replace the brake pads. You have to disassemble everything from the controller box back to the rear wheel. Will a local bike shop be able to do it?

Pads are a very fast job, since the calipers are bolted on. Service would generally be a local shop with parts offered under warranty. Thanks for watching our reviews. Subscribe for dozens more with new additions frequently.

Ehh most bike shops I’ve went to or called won’t touch an Ebike. Your best bet is to learn how to do it yourself sadly.

Were you able to use our discount link for your purchase? There are instructions in this video and description to unlock for off road mode maximum speeds. We think it's worth the effort. We really like the rear rack and pannier options if you want to add utility. The passenger kit is an either /or, but is great if you regularly ride with a passenger. Have fun! -Producer Tim

There are a lot of factors when considering a bike. Supported rider heights are generally listed among the specifications for sll models by 400+ eBike manufacturers. Narrowing the style and budget of eBike is generally the more challenging endeavor.

You mentioned you pay for some of the upgrades... are you really buying each of these bikes you review, or are they samples from the manufacturer? I can't imagine you paying for them yourself as you review new bikes every few days...

We paid for the accessories on this bike. We buy some bikes and we film others with review units provided by the manufacturers. Manufacturers have no creative control over our review productions. I actually appreciate her feedback. It's for transportation. Fun little cost cutting measure. I don't think her aim (like most of us) aspire to lean the bike on the very edge of its tires or fling the thing off of ramps. She's just doing what most of us would do on this bike, cruise.
