That is more of the Lizard than I have seen in a very long time - thank you Dana. I particularly remember a mass of sheds and lean-tos, at the Lizard, where old boys used to turn chunks of the soft Lizard stone into ashtrays, barometers and model lighthouses for the tourists. They would squirt water at the workpiece so it was a messy business and it was part of the game that visitors could see them at work. The stone would come out red or green and take on a pattern and a polish when it was worked.

Thanks for the video, it brought back some great memories of a few weekends at Cadgwith. It's been at least 40 years but I still recognised some parts. They're some of the most beautiful roads I have ever ridden on. I loved the POV camera, it's helped spark the memories. On Suzuki GT250 and later on a GS1000E, the 250 was more fun in the twisties 😎

Great work. I've done a lot of filming and I recommend getting a microphone back by the tailpipes so you get the roar of the motor. I do it by mounting a gopro on the rear fender which films behind and gets the tone of the motor more clearly. This is a very nice sounding motor.

That was a nice run out. I have done that run, although Cider and Chocolate was not available back then. There used to be a good pasty shop in Lizard Village behind the green triangle. If you walk down to the lizard there is a path down to sea level, with some boats, a slip and a winch to pull them up onto dry land. Goonhilly Earth Station is well worth a trip. There we some nice Cornish 'Hedges' down there, and on my Crumplehorn Inn website, I used to warn they are not made of twigs, but stone. A few Americans found out the hard way! Finally, you could have taken a fishing rod and fished in those potholes in the last section of lane! 😁

Well now I'm jealous, it's still a bit cold to ride here but soon. I'd love to ride with you, provided you lead. They are Drift Ghost XL. They run for about 6 hours unlike the 40 minutes from a GoPro
