Okay, for those of you who don't know... you can attack while charging the Nodachi. Not only that, but it also raises your charge level every time the attacks connect with the kemono.

Yeah claw blade suprisingly is similar if u use a stake after the dive through u can immediatly fully charge the claw again

So it's safe to say that Death stalker and others of his level are basically Elder Dragons. Especially if they are capable of flash freezing an entire map.

@That Guy In The Goggles for me id say golden tempest, emberplume, and amaratsu are the elder dragon equivalent in this game i suspect well be getting a new boss for frozen fort in dlc the 7 star monsters i believe the danger with fdrath stalker lies in the fact its a pack hunter and its ability to strategize supposedly

I wonder how many episodes of ProNoob before Josh finds out that landing normal attacks while charging iai stance increases the charge gauge significantly🤔 (like 2 full charges on a full bar of stamina if uninterrupted~)

Josh, you can use springs while charging to both move with a fair amout og I-frames and you gain stamina while you move using it.

Mines definitely golden tempest. That tiger is incessant. I hate fighting him but in terms of first impressions he's more imposing to me than even the final boss.

The nodachi is really good if you only focus on using your big unga bunga hits when you have the opening using the springs and torch to charge your bar and just releasing not for the full hit really helps against the fast kemono if you just focus on your unga bunga charge you just get smacked out of it constantly the nodachi really shines when you use the karakuri at your disposal

An offnote, you can fight this birb WAY earlier, since it does spawn in the first area map. Having only bulwark to block stuff makes things significantly harder (that and some of it's rushing attacks just smashes down bulwarks too, so you can't rely on that)

So I just wanna point out the absolute power that death stalker has over the cold Not only does deathstalker have the power to change the climate of an entire island, but it FROZE THE FUCKING SEA Sea water doesnt freeze as easily as normal water ,and to freeze the waves in place means he froze the sea instantly, THATS INSANE

I actually fought the Crow as my fifth or six monster. It was in the blossom trails while I was on free roam getting materials and stuff. Was a hard ass fight, but I used the wall to help me knock it down to kill. Niw seeing when I should have fought it makes me so surprised haha.

I was having trouble liking the Nodachi like Josh but it got so much better when I learnt you can still attack whilst you charge the special.

Also don't be afraid to let off on lvl 2 or even lvl 1 with particularly fast kemono. Some damage is better than none (and lvl 2 is still pretty good damage). Also springs are your friend and if you go on one still charging and do a normal attack in air it'll give a nice fast boost to charge and close the distance even more. It's actually quite aggressive and very satisfying.

This monster is the most fun for me, because it’s weak to bow and parasol, but I’m bad at both of those. HOWEVER, when I fight this my frame rate tanks, so the parry’s are 10 times easier. Good game but man they need to fix the performance

Anyone tell him he can charge the kodachi meter fast by attacking while charging can get it to max with a few swings. In fact it can instantly charge with the dive attack off 3 spring crates.

Man I really want to play this game. Based on what I have seen so far it might even become my favorite Not Monster Hunter hunting game. I do like the town. The Maps look interesting. And while I am not biggest fan of the "Animals with stuff growing on them" approach for the Monsters in this game they do atleast fit the games aesthetic and have cool looking attacks and abilites. Ah well probably end of March or early April will probably the time when I get this. Hopefully all the technical issues are fixed until then.^^
