How do you go to the bathroom with the train moving so fast?

The reason why there's no seat belts for the bullet train not trying to scare you is because you wouldn't survive if y'all got an accident there's no way you would survive because 200 miles per hour your body would be snapped right in half. But that bullet train is very very safe and that's whats a blessing.

Smart to arrive early for the Gran Class train. The Japanese are very prompt and will actually leave on time. Amazing places you went to. Aomori is also known for apples.

Oh..such fun..loved this trip in a land never visited b4! The even/hilly/snowy landscape reminds me of Wisconsin and the northern midwest. Wouldn't mind some sake or even a beer..but the squid's got to go. Uh, uh...not in my mouth...never tasted a good squid in my life. Wonderful trip. Glad you're back safe and sound!

Hi Tanya! Hi Dave! Hokkaido and Aomori are on my bucket list! That fish market where you built your bowl, Tanya! OMGEEE! I would definitely have to take a packet of sushi rice seasoning with me though. I’m all about sushi rice, with all of that raw yumminess! I’m super impressed with you both, trying everything (squid), and your Shinkansen box lunches, without even knowing what it was that you were eating. One would think that there would be some description of the ingredients, for those that have food allergies. 🤷‍♀️ Even though my mom’s entire side, and part of my dad’s side, all reside in Japan, I still have yet to visit Northern Japan. Thanks for allowing us to travel vicariously through you folks! I’m so sorry that people can be very pushy on trains in Japan…..I found that very annoying whenever I’ve visited. Definitely did not see that on your Gran Class Shinkansen ride. I will definitely pay the extra money for the comfort. Praying that our dollar stays strong against the yen, when I visit Japan. 😊 Take care! Blessings to you both!

A trick NASA used to move the rocket booster under a bridge on the I 10 outside of New Orleans was to deflate the tires until they cleared the bridge.. This was in the 1970s.

What a adventure! The bullet train looks amazing. Would probably try that once or twice but if I lived there would probably fly if it is less expensive. Watching Dave's face as he was eating the squid, priceless!! How did they get that RV in that space? I have enough trouble parking strait between the lines in a parking lot. LOL

My parents rode that train all the way around and one more stop just for the experience. Daddy said they pressed the people in. I think that's the same one. Maybe not, they were only in Tokyo.

Thanks for watching! The bullet train did go underwater when we went through the long tunnel from Hokkaido to Honshu. You could actually feel the air in the bullet train get a little more humid while we were in the tunnel. It was a little creepy for us to be honest knowing we were under the ocean in a bullet train along the Ring of Fire!
