Vessel Megadora JIS screwdriver set: amzn.to/363RFqO
Channellock Bent Needle-nose pliers: amzn.to/3I5DbnA

Just 'cause I do it, don't think it's the end all, be all solution. There's plenty more ideas out there, I can't take responsibility if you slice off a few fingers after watching my videos. And don't just pour that toxic stuff down the sewer or in the ditch, dispose of waste responsibly. Just be safe, OK?

Thank you for the emphasis on the correct side of the V-Belt that should touch the main pullies. I was confused because on the D110, those smaller pullies appear to have a ridge for the V-side to sit in.

I've been able to follow everything you've instructed up until actually putting the deck back onto the mower and getting the belt back onto the last pulley. I don't seem to have enough slack to get the belt around it. I have a 42" belt and it's on the pulleys just as you have it. Any suggestions?
@TheLawnmowerLady
@TheLawnmowerLady 2 жыл бұрын
@@ofashodo There should be a good deal of slack, to lay the belt into the drive pulley. Did you compare the new to the old belt in size? Could be the blade control has been engaged? Double check the belt diagram or your pics when you took it apart to make sure it is routed correctly.

Wooo that deck is coming apart on the idler pulley at 8 mins. It’s cracked. It’s a wonder that idler pulley hasn’t come all the way off bracket and all

I'm working on a friend's E110, very similar to this D110. When I think I have finished, the belt seems too big, sloppy by a few inches? We absolutely have the correct belt, GX20072. I wish I could have seen more of the spring, cable, correct position and tension. Going to start from scratch on Day #2. We were able to install the new belt WITHOUT removing pullies. True?
@TheLawnmowerLady
@TheLawnmowerLady 2 жыл бұрын
The belt will seem loose until you engage the blades. As long as you threaded the belt on the proper sides of the keepers, you should be good. I appreciate you watching.

@@TheLawnmowerLady END OF STORY. I did a good job; yes, belt is sloppy until you engage the blade and pulleys. Owner says I did a good job. MAN! I can repair any car before 2001, but this was a Sherlock Holmes mystery. No reply necessary, madame.

So is deck removal necessary
@TheLawnmowerLady
@TheLawnmowerLady 2 жыл бұрын
For a complete service, removing the deck is needed. You can get by with a belt replacement only, but anything else is too cramped to really work under there. Thanks for watching Mr Dylan!
