I have done that same trip on my bike and loved every minute of it. I was with my riding buddy and we stopped at most of the pull offs for pictures. I really like that tent you have.

I bet that tunnel of trees is insane in the summer! I loved that. I didn’t know about that bridge, either. That’s wild! 🙋‍♀️👍

Ohhh I hate to think what’s hiding out in that bathroom. I’d take the bear spray in there. I will not go into those, especially in the summer! Scary!!

When you crossed the bridge heading north Lake Huron was to the east and Lake Michigan was to the west. Beautiful trip you took there, hope you enjoyed it.

From birth I've been riding, dad loving off-road an mom loving street riding. Dad built us 2 wide wheeled framework, then we found vispa (goldmine for us) in trash, which we had running in half hour! Then Honda motorcycle shop opened within walking distance. Uncle Jerry buys us a step through trail 50cc. Then we move up too 150cc, 160cc, 250cc then in 1970 Honda come out with 750cc (that was biggest bike we'd ever seen, took me year too earn money)(That was ok cause 71' was best bike, most power, better improvements than 1970). Then I get a phone call from Mr. Honda in Japan! (Yeah right! Who is this really?) I've heard you know Frank? Well, yes I do! An you know Browney too? Yes, he's Frank's friend that makes me laugh! That the one! Frank says you teach school an tour America on your 750cc for 3 month summer breaks? Yes, that right too, your well informed! I want too build 100cc over sized piston for 750cc for all my Honda shops, an Frank thinks you would be willing too use your bike as protype? So I give Frank an Browney my bike, an get a 750cc bike back but unrecognizable! I take bike for shake down ride around Oregon, I love it! Bike will do over 150mph (that whole other story), but I don't like the bike needing aviation gas too run without pinging! I call number Mr. Honda gave me an get his personal secretary an she transfers me too his office. I'm so sorry, but the bike has a major problem! Don't be sorry, that reason Frank wanted you! I told him about having too buy aviation gas, bike needs to perform on gas station fuel! He takes bike back a changes compression from 12:1 too 10:1 an it ran great. (0 too 60 in 2.6 seconds). So I took that custom Honda built bike from Oregon, Calif, Grand Canyon, Memphis, New Orleans, Daytona, NY, Philly, (reason for trip too experience Independent/Freedom Hall, where US Constitution was designed, written an signed) Smithsonian, Indy, relatives in Nebraska, Yellow Stone Park, Salt Lake City, Pendleton, along Columbia River too Portland an home! With many great adventures along whole way! That trip became my benchmark for all future runs too cabo an Alaska! My hardest daily event was too locate best overnite camping! With that in mind I bought so property right off 101 in NW Washington. Wanting too build same campsite for bikers an scuba diver to do NW loop, Puget Sound, Hoods Canal, San Juan Islands! Tim! Cool?
