Curious on how the second sling faired. Looks like the rope was on it a little hard. I will be doing about the same tomorrow on a oak in a tight place. Thanks for sharing all you do. Keeps me thinking.

It was only resting on it while slack, once under tension it came up off it. Really hard to tell from this little snippet of a video but this tree was on a good lean - Patrick

Wow, all those x-rings and the rope is still rubbing on the tree! That's crazy.

I thought you just need one above that gcrs if it needed to be redirected to go straight down into it. Then one high for your block. Maybe your trying to keep your rope of the tree

How can you pronounce it beautiful, when we aren't shown which piece is being dropped into the system?

@@samuelluria4744 before we have even seen the cut we are seeing a line management and the proper use of the material available I. E. The tree and the use of equipment in a manner that absorbs dynamic forces and backs up the primary rigging point. So yes I pronounce it beautiful.

@@guyinatree - Fair enough. Still, all that fine line management could be either too much, or too little, depending on the size/shape/location of the piece.

una instalación adecuada y el GRS es un buen sistema, en muchos casos con un freno flotante y un polipasto se pueden elevar grandes cargas.
