Admittedly, I am not a listener of country music-I listen mostly to heavy metal. Neither am I from the South nor the Heartland where a lot of these ideals and lyrics are so closely-held-I'm from suburban New York. So obviously, I can't relate to a lot of the things in this song. But I am an Infantryman in the Army, and I heard one of my buddies playing this song. I found this video afterwards, and the lyric, "I wish everybody overseas was gonna make it home," followed by the crowd's raucous cheering nearly instantly made me tear up. I'm not deployed currently (yet) but I may be soon, and just knowing how much country artists and fans appreciate the servicemen and servicewomen humbles me in ways I can't really articulate. I just thought I'd come by and say thanks to Riley and all his fans for their love and support, God bless you all ✌️❤️🇺🇸

My grandfather was my world. Yes sir and no sir. Never sat the table with a hat on my head. I did everything I was told with out question. Always no matter what It thought. He's gone now and his words can still be heard in everything I do. I strive to be that man one day.

This is why I love country music. I love the cowboy boots, cowboy hats, cold beers, and the fans singing along. I love the culture. I love every bit of it.

I lost my grandpa and in bad terms. I was performing Mexican music in Mexico and last time I saw him I refused to hug him. I lost him and this song destroys me every time I listen to it. Sometimes we let things get to our heads and we forget that family is always first

This song made me very so hard because my grandpa had liver cancer and all of a sudden this weekend he go really bad and weighs less than me can’t talk and I can’t imagine life without out him and no one knows how long he has left. I most likely have less than 2 weeks and he is in the hospital and I regret not going in to see him one day even tho we were only there for 5 minutes. Make sure you NEVER take time for granted. Love you grandpa, I will miss you🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

@@jmit3491 yes he is but the label also has Aaron lewis, Midland and The Cadillac Three who all aren't your typical nashville sound, hopefully that means they wont try to change Riley's music

@@jmit3491 yeah i get it but that doesn't bother me, they write and play classic country. No matter what walk of life you're from, if that's your kind of music i'll listen. Its obviously the music they like and want to play, if not why do it? Pop country is selling better, especially with a model/actor of a singer.

@@jmit3491 you're right but i hope not. Now more than ever is a big market for the kind of music midland, riley, etc. make and i think nashville labels notice that as well. Only time will tell

As someone who lost a grandpa in 2019 this song means so much to me in ways that I really can't explain and this was his song to let me know he was passing bc I remember sitting in the waiting room with all my family christmas eve and just hearing this song for the 1st time I knew it would be my last with him. He absolutely loved bud lights and trucks. Thank you Riley for making this song ❤
