Hello Today we take a look at the Riley RS 2 E Scooter. This is great way to get about your Touring Park and have some fun.
Please wear a Helmet when riding and stick to the current rules. PLEASE NOTE THESE SCOOTERS AT PRESENT CANNOT BE RIDDEN ON THE UK ROADS. HOWEVER THE UK GOVT ARE RUNNING TRIALS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY IN ORDER TO SET UP NEW LAWS FOR THERE PROPER USE.

When we were working for her majesty these were mechanically propelled vehicles and classed as at least a moped, now all of a sudden they’re an eco friendly means of transport and all over London

Hi Dave they still are as far as I'm aware. It will be very interesting to see what the outcome of the Govt trials. I like the use on private land with the owners permission though. Thanks for Phil 🙂👍

Almost perfect, but alas no gravy button please pass on my thoughts , perfect for a bit of fun , sorry I’m a bit late have been south promoting pies and gravy , Looks quiet simple to control even I should manage ! Thankyou from the Hovis lad and his whippet , not for getting the Turkish delight 😃

Would like to get one, but I understand that they are not legal on the public roads. Are they legal on pavements do you know? 👍

Great Question Bernie. At present they and not legal on the roads but there are Govt trials at present to sought out new laws for them to be used. You cannot ride on pavements but you can ride on private land with the Owners permission hence me riding on a camp site. I hope this helps. Phil🙂👍

Yes these are a pain in the backside where we live. They are being purchased fir 8yr okds upwards who almost get killed on a daily basis ringing between parked cars, crossing in front of cars and shooting off pavements! Shouldn't be on the road as they need a tax disc!!!

I want to get one too, they are good I’ve used some of the public trial versions and see them being abused as well however that’s the same with everything hopefully they will catch on more and legalise them for use on roads etc regards to people getting injured etc they are as only as dangerous as the rider and that goes with all vehicles ebike, bikes, cars and motorcycles.

@@derekchebsey6793 yes but when parents buy for 7 - 9 yr old kids & the parents don't know the regs, we have no hope in hell of kids behaving or being safe. Especially when parents shout you down coz they think they are right

Hopefully they make them legal along as the restricted speed still in place I just got this one today and have a mi pro 2 in factory state (restricted speeds)

Hi Scott at some point they will be legalised. I recall the Skateboard ban when I was younger (thats a long time ago). The ban was lifted but rules were put in place. Enjoy your Scooter but be safe. Thanks Phil🙂👍

Illegal on public highways AND all holiday parks. Holiday parks are still a public place so therefore cannot be used on them, same as kids hover boards, they're illegal too.

I'm really surprised that you are promoting an illegal vehicle. Kids are getting these and putting themselves and others, as well as motorists, in great danger. They should not be sold in this country until any testing has been fully completed and proven! Kids round here have an affluent lifestyle and are almost killed on a daily basis! They don't understand the regulations, the parents poo poo them. Absolutely disgusting!

Hi Linda Thanks for your comment. I think you have misunderstood the video. The idea is to use on campsites not roads/pavements. At present there are trials set up by the Govt into the safe use of E-Scooters. At present they are not legal on the Roads in the Uk but they will be very soon once the law regarding use is established. At present you can only use them on Private Land with the Owners consent. I hope this makes sense. Phil.
