I always tried to get mods to create a like lovecraftian playthrough of monsters in the dark and investigation and secrecy and all that kind of stuff. Now they adding it themselves! Love this devs, the only DLC's I really pay for.

I wish the old colonies were persistent so you could visit the site and maybe loot some left overs. Be interesting to see it as a ruin or a raider base. You could keep creating games win or lose on the same map. That would be cool.

will i still get the quality of life updates if i disable the anomaly content itself? i want the bookshelf, wall lights, hidden conduits, clean room update etc but not the flesh monster gameplay.

Yep, I recorded my first Rimworld episode today in 1.5 and those things come with the free 1.5 update, not Anomaly.

I believe those are the ornate doors that they talked about since they take up 2x1 squares.

To be honest, it doesn't seem to fit with Rimworld. All "magic" is always explained with technology, and I don't know how would this even be said that technology does most of this stuff
