If you're not acquainted with the mod 'Map Designer' I would highly suggest it as it's a big improvement over sifting through the pages, and you get a lot more control over things.

30:05 - Not specifically a tribal hint, but a general one - don't forget to equip everyone's weapons, so you're not scrambling at the first raid (in case it's a "right away" one). I think you did... 3 of the 5 people's weapons? Something like that.

i love tribals over standard start since 5 people can get more work done, you just get one person to full research and still have 1 extra, low research from tribal will still bite your ass later too, specially when researching geotermal, also is fun the backstory is mechs destroyed your last tribe and third research you do is electricity lol, also for pila i think it has decent melee stats too even if it's mainly ranged, you also can just drop a crafting spot and make simple bows and clubs to have everyone geared with melee and ranged options my default pawns for starting tribal is 2 doctors, with social too and then each specialice in cooking or research (they also get both ideoligion roles), then farmer, animals, sniper and then 2 mining building crafting, with the doble passion being one for building one for mining

There's a mod called Techadvancing I think which is a mod that changes your tech level the more techs you research in a tier. It automatically adjusts the tech research costs if you tech up. You can set up how much do you have to research on a tier using the mod options. So for example of you research 90%of the neolithic tech your colony changes to a medieval tech level. That means medieval tech will have lower research costs. You can still research above your tech level too.

3:25 - While I obviously love the Sting reference, the might've been something to having your relic be named after one of the crappiest cars ever made (behind the AMC Pacer, of course). ;)

@@absurdides Oh, sorry, I wasn't clear (my fault - I went on a tangent). Your changing the name of the item to Sting (assuming, of course, you mean the blade from LotR, not the singer from the Police or the wrestler, although those are both also interesting alternatives) was lovely, but the original name, before you changed it, was Lada. It's completely unrelated, of course, but that happens to be the name of an old, incredibly craptacular model of car... That's what I was talking about.

Actually, is there a full list somewhere? I knew about prepare carefully and allow tool, but not growing zone by terrain or similar ❤️

Colorblind Minerals is the one. The mod collection should be linked in the video description. ;) Things might not be working correctly, I've been having trouble myself with mod errors since the 1.5 announcement. :S
