Ай бұрынThis was a video I recorded in 2022 of me testing some of the then-new 1.7 versions of PCSX2 on my computer. I like the new interface copied from Dolphin and Duckstation, but I also found out my CPU is apparently considered old now and certain versions of PCSX2 don't even work. I guess I should consider an upgrade, but for the most part my computer still runs fine for what I do.
I wanted to try the PS2 version of Island Xtreme Stunts since it doesn't have as many bugs and also has a much larger draw distance for some reason. I guess I'll stick to PC, though if anyone knows of any bug fixes or a way to increase the render distance on PC let me know.

SLIGHTLY off topic but I genuinely think LEGO Island 2 is deserving of a remake/reimagining. The game is so poorly aged and held together by duct tape but such an ambitious game and had a lot of content they ended up scrapping last minute that it makes you wonder what could have been.

less bugs, add in all the cut and planned content, and also have better voice acting and character animation like the first game did

@@Ringtail I don't think the voice acting was necessarily bad. Like it wasn't perfect but I don't think it's as bad as people make it out to be. Though new lines would be nice

@@JulianR2JG it was all recorded by five programmers while the first game had actual voice actors

@@Ringtail Four, actually, one of them voiced 2 characters. Also I don't believe there were programmers. There is a sheet of the official voice cast on the Internet Archive but I believe it's missing Legotiti.

ive tried running the ps2 port on pcsx2 before, do you know how to fix the water being distorted/glitchy all over the place

no, sorry. the new version is easier to run but i still have little experience with it compared to dolphin
