We're talking about a club that isn't supporting their 3rd manager, who constantly get criticized for not winning every week, and falling behind teams like Liverpool and Man City, who have managers that get everything they point at. Mourinho is the only manager who can take the negativity towards the team away from them and aiming it at himself because that is what the team needs now. All the "experts" do is complain about a manager who is taking over a failing club that doesn't support any of it's managers for more than a single year.

Those who are slagging off the pundits have no idea what they are talking about. The pundits are making comments about 'the past' because Jose in his interview after the game made it all about him. The last thing he said was about him being in the Champions league (CL) 14 times and has made it through to the last 16, 14 times and the only time he was not involved in the CL, he won the Europa Cup. This is why the pundits got so agitated and angry because Jose was bringing up his past achievements as a way to justify what he is doing at the club. Rio was right to say it has nothing to do with what he has achieved in the past that matters but what matters is the here and now and that Jose was wrong to make the comment. Scholes backed him up in agreement, saying it's a TEAM game but Jose made it all about HIM, something he is very well known for doing. Something which both of them agree is what a United manager should not be doing.
