I put buy orders for NYCB at various prices below its market close yesterday and got the highest offer filled this morning. NYCB's past due loan rates (30+ day, 90+ day and nonaccrual) are at 2%, not great, but not disastrous either. Per the 4th Qtr call report the biggest contributor to the past dues was single family homes (res 1-4), multi-family (5+), other non-res & non-agr real estate and commercial loans not secured by RE in that order. Their biggest problems are with residential and not office. My first tranche was bought at about 40% of book. Hoping that my lower priced tranches will be bought as well.

I narrowly missed the chance to buy the dip by 2 cents, which could have resulted in at least $15k in profit. The RSI was at 0...LOL dropped by 40% and then they halted the trade.
