Well, I just made this last night and threw it in the fridge overnight. I’m having it with my morning coffee and wow, it’s even better than I thought it would be. I’m not a huge cream cheese guy but it’s ok in the right dessert and this is the right dessert! Thanks so much! I mixed everything in my new Bosch stand mixer. Best money I ever spent! Didn’t take long at all to mix it up! And P.S. I didn’t add any salt because I figured the salt on the crackers would be enough.

Oh, my goodness! That looks so good. Today is my daughter's birthday. We're having Oreo ice cream pie after dinner. It's a bag of crushed Oreos, a carton of ice cream, a carton of Cool Whip, mixed together and placed in an Oreo pie shell, our favorite summer dessert. I made it this morning so it could harden all day in the freezer.

I don't know how long you've been in Southeast Texas but there used to be a cafeteria called Wyatt's that served a Ritz cracker pie but I think they used meringue and whipped cream. This kind of reminds me of that.❤🎉❤

Your always bring back memories for me. I'm now in my 50s. This is one of my childhood favorites we called it GCcake in Ontario 🇨🇦 referring to (great crash 1920s). we used regular square salted soda crackers my mom (r.i.p) used to add crushed grinned beer nut or candied pecans in between layers sometimes raisens on top my mother used vanilla ice cream and cool whip cheaper in the 80s instead of heavy cream. My children started making it in the 90s with chocochip rainbow cookies ( Not my choice). But the best way no joke is and my office goes crazy for it rice crispy squares instead of crackers naked snicker doodle I call it 🤣🤣🤣. It's been 5 years since I made a batch😣 empty nest now.😎ps when my brother started working at mickyDs he would bring home Carmel real carmel instead homemade mmm made one a huge difference. Couldn't afford store bought Carmel in the 80s was considered a luxury.🤣
