You know? It's crazy, i remember reading an article on Ozzy and he was in love with drugs, apparently he came home once and got a bowl and a wooden rolling pin and persisted to put all of his drugs into the bowl to make a concoction, using the bowl and rolling pin as a pestle and mortar.. then snorting lines of the concoction to defy Sharron. He's another Keith Richards I'm sure. Everytime you smoke a cigarette, god takes a minute from your life and donates it to Ozzy and Keith 🤣

YESSUH!!!! I saw them at a small club in my area (North Carolina) last April, and could not believe that I was getting to see them in such a small venue. No seats on the floor, just a bunch of rock fans packed together and showing major love to Rival Sons. I'm sure that I'll never get the chance to see them at such a small venue again, but damn, I'm sure glad I did.

I can’t understand why Rival sons never exploded onto the scene. Jordan is one of the best songs I’ve ever herd, and every song they have is powerful. Great musical talents, some of the best mic work and vocal control you’ll ever see in a live performance. I guess it’s still pretty cool how they kicked ass on the downlow. If someone says they like rival sons, you can assume they are into the good shit.

Sabbath are part of the reason I have hearing problems today! In the 70's I would sit with my back on the speakers and just crank it. It's an old saying, but sadly true, they really don't make music like that anymore, Deep Purple, Budgie, ect. Rival Sons did a great job, I like that the lead guitarist didn't try to emulate Tony I. Tony had a problem with his right hand with the tops of 2 middle fingers missing, and the left handed guitar strings were lighter than usual, banjo strings i believe, and slack, you would be a fool to try to copy that, so kudos to him for not pretending. I would go to their concert if they did a Sabbath Tribute show!

There will never be another band like Sabbath or a lot of their contemporaries ever again.. These guys and many of their era were literally music Gods. With legit talent that was the pinnacle of human achievement up to that time..Yes there are many really killer bands..unbelievable at that. But these guys came from a time younger music lovers cannot really comprehend. These bands only had pictures or posters and word of mouth and of course their albums for people to experience them, the mystique and the lore of the stories were epic and so different than today. Music wise I believe it was more personal and affected people deeply on a very different level, the musicianship was too...Even though there are very very good musicians today it's not close to the music experience 30 or 40 years ago.

Yeah, they're one of those bands that I like to introduce people to in person so that I can see the look on their face when Jay belts it out. And while these two get most of the recognition they've got one of the best rhythm sections out there today. Not sure how I feel about them adding the keyboards the last few years.....it''s not bad, but I think that it was to help with the live stuff.

Rival Sons could easily pay homage to Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin. That singer it´s beyong words and they are probably the most talented and honest Hard Rock acts from the last 20 years.

True, but the original line-up is what started it all and what many metal bands base their main influences off of. People mention Sabbath and they immediately think Iommi, Osbourne, Butler, and Ward.
