Footage recovered from VHS Tapes recorded in September 1989 of our family day out on Trev's brother Derek's motor cruiser on the River Great Ouse between Ely and St Ives.
New collaboration video series Throwback Thursday is a chance to revive old footage.
We have come together as a group of creators to share with you our videos that invite you to reflect on the past as we often need to see where we have been to help us move forward.
Collaborators from all parts of the world with different interests sharing fond memories and telling stories from the past. So take a moment to reflect and enjoy.

Thanks for watching our videos. We include all things to do with motorhomes, caravans and the great outdoors. We mainly tour the UK and camp around 80 nights per year in our 2017 Swift Bolero. We offer advice, tips and tricks, review campsites and associated products or services. We also occasionally make videos about other trips we take without the motorhome.

What a great but of old film from 1989 to bring back to life in 2020. Feels like I am watching an old feature film about taking a boat trip down the river and through the locks. Really enjoyed this, Trev and Sue.

Good to see the Cutter Inn back in 1989, always go there whenever we are in Ely for Fish and Chips. We where in St Ives recently, and it hasn't changed much. Thanks for sharing, Paul and Suzanne.

My first boating holiday was from Wroxham on the Norfolk Broads when I was about 12 years old. It was a very new experience and exciting time 😃 Trev

So fun!! I really enjoy looking back at older videos and reliving those fun times from my life, so imagine this was a great memory trip for you! One of the things high on my bucket list is to make the trip over the pond and go on a canal boat! The locks looked like an adventure in themselves!! Now you've got me itching to get over there! Hi Sue, when you come over to the canals, make sure you get a good guide book about the history as it’s fascinating to see how time has changed from canals to railway then roads. Some of the old industrial buildings still exist too. It will be an awesome trip for you 😃👍🏻 Trev
