I'd expand majors to 24 teams. Make them the big events that are inclusive to all regions. The I'd strip worlds down to top 16 Major point earning teams. Regions unlimited, best of the best.

OCE needs to believe themselves to be an absolute lethal unit, like MENA and SAM do. MENA and SAM genuinely believe themselves to be NUMBER FUCKING ONE in the world Unless OCE brings that dgaf attitude, they will be shy of their potential

Wtf are you talking about bro? OCE is the only truly isolated region. SAM can play in NA and MENA in EU on playable ping. OCE cannot, taking away spots will just make the problem worse.

If they lose a spot I will boycott RL cuz given how long they've been a region officially, their spots are earned and it's theirs to claim, period. It should never even be a topic. Taking away something is an overall very negative experience. It's a more celebratory thing to give SAM and MENA more spots. My prediction, soon enough more teams will beat Elevate in APAC too so then things will get even more interesting. By dgaf I mean, it doesn't matter who (like someone like YOU), or ME for that matter, or the talking heads of RL think. When OCE walks through the door. Holy f**k, watch out or else you boutta get stung. Next thing you know, your water bottles ran dry, and all you hear is Aussie and kiwi accent cackles while they ceiling double tap on your mom. GG, bye. Idk what kind of isolation nonsense people say when clearly it's evident if they don't hold back it's good RL. Them talking about world spots, I wish majors were more teams, bring in 2 from every expansion region at least. Do a big 20 team swiss, If teams average a certain amount of points they earn another spot, maximum of 5, which is what EU/NA start with and those regions lose a spot, etc. Do a big swiss so every team gets 3 matches every LAN into single elim, get every day of single with a crowd, maybe final day of swiss can as well. Single elim, 16 teams would go quick, but that shit would be so hype and so nerve wracking.

4 more teams that need plane tickets, hotels and everything + the broadcasting cost to add the extra teams + prob some more costs. Hosting these events is not cheap and given the current state of esports idk if they can profit from adding more teams. If its affordable its nice, maybe its what they've got planned for next year since I believe I've heard some big changes are coming (possible removal of fall split) which could be to save up for bigger events.

Thing about American crowds is we want to have diverse chants like eu crowds, stuff like that is so fun. it’s just not part of our normal culture so it’s really hard to do.

I think they need to raise the age limit. Just looking at CSGO and how the 2nd youngest top team right now has average age of 20 (mous) and in RL that's considered old. I think it's better from so many standpoints to rage the age to 16. Sponsors, Orgs, Professionalism, Fanbases etc i think the scene would benefit in a lot of ways. I also think we need more LAN events and less online. Otherwise older players will get filtered out more as the y can't keep up with the onliners even tho they would still be good on LAN and i think that hurts the fanbase and longevity

secret as their semi was easier than the other side, the KC win was obviously huge tho. overall they weren't the 2nd best team in the world at the time, but based on their placement that's technically what they were, which rise didn't agree with. imo it's probably just confirmation bias- rise considered the roster to be unsustainable, so the fact they got as far as they did (w/ a "mickey" semi) probably felt like a fluke thanks to aztral hard peaking lol

16 is a shoddy number. It should be increased to 24 or 18. No point in taking away slots, but you can add them for sure.

Take one spot from EU and NA each. Sure they have a lot of great teams, but great teams should be able to get top 4 in their regions.

An EU 5 seed made the Fall major final... and Gen.G was the NA 5 seed in spring and was the best performing team. Taking away their 5 seeds just makes no sense

All that needs to happen is 18 team worlds. Fixes every problem. NA won't lose a spot, it's a USA game. Add 1 Mena and 1 SSA, 18 team lans. Done, fair, balance, sorted.

NA doesn't deserve as much spots as EU. Heck NA doesn't even deserve more spots than MENA at this point. This region is carried by import teams right now

if we can't make it 20 teams at majors (EU5, NA5, MENA3, SAM3, APAC1, SSA1, OCE2) which financially seems highly unlikely, it really should be EU5, NA4, MENA2, SAM2, OCE1, APAC1, SSA1 Just because some regions had more spots first is not a good reason to let them hold onto those spots. OCE will feel like they're getting robbed but they probably should not have had 2 spots in the first place, and NA has shown to just be less competitive throughout the history of RLCS.

I'm from MENA, and the disrespect on OCE has to stop. It's true they're not as good as NA or EU, but they're not far from MENA and SAM. They almost swept KC and R1 in The last major, and they did one of the best "upsets" before by sweeping BDS and defeating Endpoint (EU #1 seed back then). So, taking away a spot from them or any regoin is not the solution imo, it'll make the region worse for obvious reasons. And if you absolutely HAVE to take away spots to make SSA compete and to give MENA another spot, then imo you have to do the lesser evil which is: to take away one spot from both EU and NA, because they have 5 spots, and needless to say that I'm against that as well.

LA major was the best venue I’ve been to so far but the crowd was weak unfortunately. I wish I had lower seats to help get people going. No one up top wanted to help. Also expecting good food delivery in LA is foolish. LA as a city and the people there, kind of crap. Anytime i work in LA I don’t want to be there Also there is a difference in how we watch sports over here. We actually watch the sport instead of cheering the whole time. I go to US soccer games and as apart of a support group we cheer the whole time but every other sport the fans just watch the game. If you hate on the then that’s a you thing
