Lots of ties have been replaced since I visited this RR 4 years ago. Back in 2019, there were huge stack of new RR ties along the tracks in Chadbourne. I didn’t check the rest of the line. I had read in some rail periodical that RJ Corman was planning lots of rehab of that line and had secured money to help pay for it.

Any idea what the cars were carrying? Looks like they have air assist unloading so probably come kind of grain, sugar, or plastic pellets??
