Yes, Sunmi! Gashina used to be HUGE in kpop, almost every idol did a cover of it, so maybe you actually saw some of the choreo :) I recommend checking 'Noir', 'Pporappippam', 'Lalalay', and 'Heart Burn' next!

"24h" is her debut as a soloist and was when she was still in jyp, "full moon" too, both classics i recommend. Others are "noir", "heart burn","pporappippam","lalalay","heroine" and "you cant sit with us"(the first three are my favs btw)and that dancer you recognized was in the dating show "singles inferno" hes a model and dancer who has been working with sunmi since the beginning of her solo carreer and are besties(they have an interview together and its adorbs)

Just throwing it out there.... Noir by Sunmi is one of my favorite videos ever of any genre. Its very meta, self aware, bright yet dark.. pretty unique imo.... i think youd like it

He's been friend with Sunmi since 2013 when Sunmi started her career as soloist.. since then, they've worked together.. Sunmi even mentioned once that when she was about to perform for the first time as soloist, she was so scared & nervous & always standing behind him when they were walking together in the hall & he was always comforted her.. so sad that they're not gonna working together anymore.. @@kpopstansara5604

I love Sunmi. Probably the most unpretentious Idol I've ever seen. I saw her play here at a small club before the pandemic and people in the crowd were yelling for her to do "Aegyo." She stopped the show and said "Nope, I don't do that. I'm a grown woman." Savage.

👍 for SUNMI! I can't wait for part 2. Recommendations are "You Can't Sit With Us", "Noir", "Heart Burn" & the duet with JYP himself "When We Disco". She seems a little crazy in her videos, but I really love her for her unconventional style. Also, you should check out Wonder Girls in the future. They are 2nd gen icons!

I loooooove the "Band ver." of her song Heart Burn. She gets to play her bass in it, and it's absolutely excellent. A funny story about her is that she performed at a wedding of two of her fans as a surprise gift, and then the next day she had a fanmeeting, and the bride was there lol. Sunmi was so surprised that she came to see her after her wedding day.

I was excited when i seen sunmi reaction, i was double excited when I seen you were reacting to TAIL. Tail is an effing time and a half 💀 plus the catwoman theme is really cool and the outfits are incredible, the choreo is insane and a fantastic song to boot.

Sunmi is SOOOOOO good. All her songs & MVs are a 10 out of 10. You gotta watch the dance or live of Tail. Stranger is a grower. It gets in your brain & you’ll love the mmm she does. Heroine (kinda continues from Gashina), Pporappippam (beautiful 80s nostalgia), You Can’t Sit With Us (it’s a whole film), & Heart Burn (great summer vibe) are all faves, & Noir & Lalalay are also unmissable. Borderline is pretty cool too & tells you a bit more about her & her struggles. Full Moon (her first solo) is also kinda wild. Wonder Girls have a bunch of bops too. They definitely had that throwback aesthetic.

Tail is definitely one of her best songs and choreos to date, so check out the performance video by Studio Choom! Can greatly recommend 24h, Full Moon (Loonas cover stage of Full Moon is also such a treat!), and Noir. Looking forward to more of Sunmi!

I had the privilege of seeing her live last year. Absolute queen! Love her so much, thank you for checking her out. My requests for part 2 would be Noir, Heroine, Can't Sit With Us, Heartburn, Borderline, Pporappippam and 24 Hours. There is a Studio Choom for Tail and it is *deadly*

Yeah the dancer Cha HyunSeung has actually been working with Sunmi for over 10 years since 24 Hours MV. He is the one she sat on to do the lap dance in Tail lol. He is really close with Sunmi and is the one to be responsible for most of her explicit dancing with a male partner. You should react to their interview together in Sunmi hosted show called "Showterview". Their dynamic is just so good and so precious

In tail, the story is of a man who murdered her by letting go of her hand supposedly falling to her death but she revives from the cats. Similar to cat woman and gets revenge on him. There are scenes of her doing a lie detector test in an interrogation room

Sunmi is a legend! She actually wrote Siren for Wonder Girls after they reinvented themselves as a four piece band, but the group went with the iconic Why So Lonely which was a huge hit in 2016. If you dig Sunmi you should definitely check out their work post-2015 with REBOOT especially. Sunmi learned and played bass in the lineup, which she picked up again for the Heartburn single. Great reaction.

SUNMI, YES! one of my favorite soloists of all time, even out of kpop itself. she is actually very quirky and quite shy, but her mvs are absolutely creative and they translate very much her artistic vision. Sunmi has some of my favourite all time Korean songs - my favourite being "Black Pearl" - the compostion , production and performance is superb. (Siren and Pporappippam are runners up). Team Aura are the dance group she works with a lot (they work with Everglow, Itzy and Twice also)

Don't think I'll have to convince you much, but I think you should check out the choreo or a performance version of tail😭❤ it fits the song so well and all the images created of tails are masterful Also, the Gashina choreo was super viral and is still considered iconic to this day, so you probably have seen it somewhere I don't know a bunch of her songs but I think you might like Heartburn

When she came back with Wonder Girls they came back as a band so they all play instruments so Sunmi has also released band versions of her solo songs where she plays her bass guitar. Even her early solo songs, shes always had a bit more of a unique style which got to flourish even more after leaving JYP.
