Road to a Rough Cut: the making of my first feature documentary

Жыл бұрынI thought of the idea for my first feature documentary when I was 16, I started shooting the film when I was 17, and I finished filming when I was 18.
I filmed my family eating dinner together for an entire year. Now, a few weeks before I turn 23, I finally have a rough cut. It took me 5 years to start editing this film. It took going to college, making friends, falling in love, traveling, working different jobs with all different kinds of people, to figure out what I have to do to finish this film.
Making this video is my way of processing my own inhibitions and limitations and accepting my naivety as a strength, not a weakness. I hope you enjoy!
