Húsavík is a town in north of Iceland and right next to it is a mountain called Húsavíkurfjall, which is 417m / 1368 ft tall. On a nice sunny summer day in July 2020 we took a trip up to the mountain and also checked out a trail going from behind the mountain towards Lake Botnsvatn. The top of the mountain offered beautiful views over Húsavik, Skálfandi bay and lake Botnsvatn.
