The location threw me off right at the beginning. It’s a beautiful beach and the bar looks really nice and fun. I think of roadhouses as rural small town dive bars. There were some good action scenes but just kinda meh

I watched it. Connor McGregor was hilarious. Jake did fine as Dalton. Visually, Liman did a great job. It won't replace the original in any way, but honesty, no one was really talking about the original until they heard it was being remade. I think the things I miss most are Patrick Swayze and the throat rips, of course🙂.

Good on Gylanhall for getting cut for this, but his super nice guy character was really annoying. Doesn't hold a candle to the original.

Well said New Bee! I loved the original. It was a hoot. The new one... I watched it on a Friday night, and I couldn't remember what happened the next day. I just tuned out. It was boring. The storyline was garbage. I was excited for this movie. I'm a fan of Jake Gyllenhaal. Just a disappointment.
