Homer AK is where "Alaska the last frontier is filmed". It's about a homesteading family's adventures in the Alaskan wilderness. Fun fact: The singer Jewel is one of the family members and moved to the lower 48 to pursue her singing career (which payed off). You probably drove right past their homestead🫡

After you apologized to your dad for not taking him to Homer, all I heard was him saying, "You're an idiot" 😂 A fun bit of time in that van, it was nice but I wouldn't want to be dealing with it getting stuck in the snow constantly. Happy to see you back in Poe! Looking forward to seeing the new upgrades, you and Blue stay safe out there! 💙💙💙

Blue is the sweetest and kindest! Those eyes are amazing and when he jumps up to meet you outdoors, it is the most lovable and cutest thing. Have you consider cutting up or chunking up his meat instead of just dropping the cold block onto his dish? It would be a bit more aesthetics to viewers not to mention thoughtful and kind to Blue. He does not mind, but surely would appreciate his meal more. ❤😊

Upgrades to Poe - Diesel Heater, battery with longer life capacity, better windshield wipers that don't freeze up, machine gun mounted under hood. Ok... maybe not that last one. Blue isn't leaving you for a long time. The bond between you two goes unmatched in the entire universe. 😍

idk if you think about this bc it's your everyday norm. but you give Blue so many amazing experiences and memories, probably more than most dogs get in their lifetime. it's just so beautiful to think he gets to spend his whole life with such an amazing person who loves him and gives him the amazing life he deserves :) had this thought while you filmed the sunset on the coast

I completely understand what you mean when talking about the beauty of Alaska. The only and only time I have been there I shed more tears of joy from the breathtaking beauty, majesty, spectacular views, and unbelievable sights I have done in my entire 70+ yrs on this earth. Seemed like several times a day more tears of joy were shed. Enjoy and cherish every second you have there.

Absolutely stunning spot you found! The view was like a calendar or post card. I try not to think of my Maddy not being around, she's 12. I was a rescue, she saved me from myself 💞 Blue is so cute and very precious! I love your videos and I have to be honest, I first watched you because you're as stunning as the view you saw. I grew up in the mountains of upstate NY and we were on the mountain top, so after a huge snowstorm the day before, it'd be totally sunny the morning after, so we'd walk out the door and it's a total winter wonderland. I could see another mountain range 30+ miles away. I know people would pay $1000 to be transported to that place just for a few hours if they could. It was amazing all year, not just winter. Even in summer, we would have cool breeze, so would never be too hot, nor too humid. It was a dream to live there as a child. 🤤

I had the best seafood of my life in Homer, nearly 25 years ago. The memory of that halibut, on the grill and cooked to flaky-falling-apart-perfection, will stay with me until I die. Fresh off the boat, can't be beat.❤ (I grew up in an east coast fishing town, so "best seafood of my life" is a large claim!)

I felt that way about Valdez Alaska, it was so beautiful. My brother had some friends that took us out on a fishing trip into Prince William Sound,, we were on. 52' fishing boat, it was in June so it never got dark. We would sleep on these beautiful coves, where there were little islands. And go into Columbia Glacier.It's probably one of the most beautiful trips I have ever been on. He was station in Fairbanks. I have so enjoyed these videos on Alaska. I actually have a friend who lives in Homer. Safe travels 🥰❤️

We have a 9 month old Australian shepherd. They're amazing dogs. You can throw a frisbee and he will run and catch it! They need a lot of attention and are super trainable.

That sunset in Homer was just magical.. Something youd have to see with your own eyes to believe it. I too have those 'special' moments with my soul dog Kaiser whose a almost 13 year old German shepherd. I often have glimpses into a future when he wont be with me and that feeling fills me with dread and unable to breathe because I cannot imagine my life without him in it..

Usually when I throw away drinks that I don’t finish, I water a plant or bush or something w/ the liquid, instead of risk whomever pulling that bag out of that trashcan -ripping the bag open & a big wet mess to clean up. And in Alaska,.. those drinks prolly freeze making that bag of trash even heavier. I just think of my nephew who is 21,… he works at Taco Bell and he must have extra work to do sometimes because no one really thinks twice about discarding liquids… buttttt I do now. Loved every Alaska vlog, Maria!!! Hope yourself & Blue are doing great!!!!!

Just some things: A. Make an online order for your favorite coffee! Mail it to a post office and pick up there within 15 days! B. If you’re going to keep traveling (you’ve GOT to see Montana in the summer!), I want you to be able to have a glamping van so bad. Yeah, Poe is cool, BUT LOOK HOW COMFORTABLE YOU ARE!! C. I love your vids ❤
