As a Brentford fan I could tell this was not your day. I’m hoping for you guys to snap back and stay up for next season!

It's a bad result, but these things happen in football. The guys do look like they're running on empty a little, the fitness levels in the premier league are intense and a lot of them have played more minutes than they should have because of the injuries. Rob and the team have done themselves so proud this season. Keep going lads!

First time this season we looked Championship level… something odd happened today, let’s hope Rob works it out.

A win in this game meant we could compete with whomever wins between Everton and Nottingham. This loss means we have to focus on the loser. Really poor result and really poor performance but there is still hope.

So sorry for this banging we gave LUTON , and we will be so sad to see you get relagated , ( if you do ? ) you are a credit to small budget clubs like us and Bournemouth , and Brighton .in the premiership ! Your manager and players can do some magic on your day , but small , squads and injuries take their toll on us ! .

As cup finals go, today we got knocked out We get these sort of performances every now and then don’t we? I think the excesses of the last several weeks are beginning to catch-up with us. Considering the injuries to key players we’ve had, it is amazing that with four games remaining, we are still in with a chance of staying-up. Of course, we never do these things the easy way, do we? Burnley are within two points of us now, but they have some tough games to play from now until the end of the season = Man Utd, Newcastle, Spurs and finishing with Forest. I’m still focussed on Forest and Everton. Today’s game certainly didn’t do us any favours as far as goal difference is concerned. If any good can come from this is it will put more pressure on Everton and Forest to get something from tomorrows game. Hopefully they will cancel each other out. We move on to Wolves.

Just one of those days where we had an off day. It happens!! Credit to Brentford too though as they are a decent side and on a nice run themselves. It's not over yet, the lads know that, Rob knows that and we absolutely have to up it now. We've done well to be in this position after a long gruelling season and with the massive injury list, but the team have to find that little bit extra now for one final massive push before a much deserved rest. #COYH #NeverGiveUp #WeAreLutonTown 💪🏻

Horrendous day.

I like Rob, and I generally don't like to criticise him. But his comment below saying this isn't a "must-win" game set the wrong tone for the team and didn't set the required pressure. Though there is only a slim chance of surviving relegation, I am still hopeful of a better performance in the remaining four games and surviving (although I am struggling to see that at the moment). _"So we know how important it is. _*_It is not must-win_*_ because it doesn't mean we're down if we don't win tomorrow, but we all recognise the importance of it. We know what a win tomorrow means but there is still a long way to go."_

Watching the game, Luton just didn’t turn up! However they played extremely well. Hopefully other teams above us lose or draw.

This was a not lose game as we play teams higher up the table (wolves and West Ham). I know they did not want to lose but something went terribly wrong. I think they thought they could turn up and things fall for them. As that was a carbon copy when we played Brentford away. Just got outplayed everywhere. Too many touches too many players off there game. Clicker should of been subbed earlier as he was frustrated and it never got any better for him but worse. Love that guy but today it not worked. Woodrow should of come on much earlier. We just have to wait for there next game for there response. its a must win or forget about staying up.

We miss Tom and Ogbene. We havnt been able to challenge at the same level without them. Marvelous being out all season too. Fate has not been kind to us this season. Nevertheless.. we are LUTON TOWN!

5/6 players tapped out after third goal….couldn’t understand why you’d take off our best player at least Chong was having a go. Mengi and osho looked like they had never met , Clarke dreadful and Barkley worse game in a Luton shirt. Need a reaction at wolves but I fear we are second worse side in division and at times we’ve not managed games well in last 10 mins which falls at RE’s door I’m afraid…Bournemouth away , villa , arsenal and Liverpool all should have yielded points if we had adopted the dark arts like every other club in this division …good guys don’t always win Rob time to get nasty and call players out.

I know we haven’t got the players fit I know we haven’t got bench we have run out off options and I know we are only one win off safe if forest lose and the players coming back need to settle back in quick

Just home from the match via a few pints in the pub. That was a really hard watch today, poorest I’ve seen us for quite a while and literally at the worst time. We await the result tomorrow, but we certainly haven’t made it easy for ourselves. As Rob says we need to respond now. Luton till I die 🧡🎩🤍
