Ann-Margret and Elvis Presley starred in the 1964 MGM musical comedy 'Viva Las Vegas'. The two met in the beginning of July in 1963. Elvis was 28, Ann-Margret 22. Both were on top of the world.
This short film is about their love affair as told by Ann-Margret herself. She became the most memorable of Presley's leading ladies during his Hollywood career.

Elvis smooth as ever in his dance moves she was trying too hard even with those facial expressions. They are called movie stars, it's their job to sell their movies. Even in today's celebrity world they have affairs amongst each other. Whether he had 1 too many or thousands of women he's a man after all in the lime light moving from town to town. Even his friends said he was the magnet for women if he gets lucky they get lucky...She said herself in this video that the director had pictures of them taken off camera, If they were so inlove why didn't they get together after his divorce???!!! Just another love struck woman entranced by him just because he made her feel special.

Amazing ever lasting love between the.both of them, they didn't need to be physically together together, the love they had for one another outshone anything, it was heart and soul.deep, and enough to keep and sustain them, they saw each other.at openings and backstage , and messages by songs kept their unique feelings for each other alive a sad unrequited love, but so.much respect and mutual admiration, they managed to.reach out and sustain each other .

@@marytarantinoo9118 I wonder, have you learned anything since you made your post? There was indeed something' between Elvis and Ann-Margret. They were deeply in-love, and witnesses closest to them both at that time and throughout the years have confirmed it. In fact they all thought for sure that he would marry her, knowing that he wanted to. It wasn't even until Priscilla's father threatened to have Elvis charged under the Mann Act for "taking a minor across state lines for sexual purposes" that he had no choice but to marry her, or else he and his career would be ruined. Then came in his manager Colonel Parker who also pressured him into marrying her by reminding him about his RCA "morals clause". So you see? He had NO CHOICE. Also the press had already done their damages as well by printing again and again headlines of Elvis and Priscilla's fabricated "great love story" and so the public believed what they read and so had high expectations of it. Another close associate of his said by the time he married Priscilla, it had already "gotten old". The very same year He and Priscilla were married in 1967, Ann-Margret's Las Vegas show was to have its very first opening. In spite of being now married, Elvis made sure to be there when it did. He went to Ann's dressing room getting down on his knees, and told her how he still felt, that he loved her. In 1972 he attended a get-together with Ann, her husband and other acquaintances. They spoke together quietly in one corner of the room. Later he called her and asked her to meet him alone just one last time. She replied; "You know that I can't". Then the last thing he said was; "I just need to tell you that my feelings are the same". A mutual friend of theirs said that "Ann was the only woman he ever tried to 'get back", he never had any problems of "letting go" the women in his life. He never tried to get his ex Priscilla back. "Only Ann meant that much to him, "and that should tell you something."" As far as you're "always thinking that Ann being weird and her body taped together??? What kind of mind do you have in that head of yours? Ann was 100% a natural beauty, a perfect female, and the personality and heart to match. Throughout the years many of Elvis' friends and family spoke out and all agreeing that though he loved others (in his kind hearted way), he was "never in-love as deeply as he was with Ann-Margret". According to his cousin, when Elvis first heard the news that Ann had married Roger Smith, he was jealous and threw a virtual temper tantrum. "He didn't want another man touching her." February 24, 1971 Elvis remained in Las Vegas to attend Ann-Margret’s opening at the International Hotel, just so he could "see her". February 23, 1973 Ann-Margret was in the audience on Elvis’ closing nigh in Las Vegas. To Lamar, who was in charge of the lights, Elvis said: “Leave the light on her, man, I just want to look at her.” Well, that certainly puts a different spin on the show knowing how much he was singing 'for her'. Though apart he always kept track of her, keeping up to date with her life. There's a whole lot more proof that he was deeply in-love with Ann, in every way, equally, spiritually, and physically. They were truly twin souls, each others soul mates. Now as far as Priscilla is concerned, as much as she goes on and on that she loved Elvis, not so much. Actions speak louder than words, do they not? The very next year in 1968 after they were married and after she had given birth to their daughter, she was already looking for greener pastures. She decided to take dancing lesson's with the very first man she had an affair with, her dance instructor ( It takes an easy guess as why she specifically chose that particular instructor). Then, again, she went and had yet another affair with her karate instructor whom she had met back stage during one of Elvis' concerts (again, I wonder why she chose that particular instructor - it's another easy guess). Then she immediately moved in and shacked up with the guy after leaving Elvis. She'd like to blame Elvis for her temptations and affairs, as in him not wanting to be intimate with her after her pregnancy, but the guilty always place blame on the other when they themselves are the main culprit. When a man loves a woman, nothing would keep him from wanting to make love to her. Even so, Elvis was way too kind-hearted even though she didn't deserve it. Well, even today, she's still playing the 'great love story lie' because it's made her a ton of money and that's about the gist of it. Elvis did not want her using his name to make her money, as was stated in their divorce decree, and she didn't, up until his death. Ever since then she has played along with the game, all to her financial advantage. So be wise and take Priscilla down off that pedestal you've placed her upon, including her and Elvis' strange and rocky relationship.

The only words to use is if: As, an only one, a world class famous handsome singer among all entertainers, he shouldn’t have tied a knot. There is no way to settle down to one person. Whoever married him will happen to have problems soon or later. Since he often used to travel, on stage to sing, always party most nights n slept on daytimes. He had complained of sleeping problem and used sleeping pills and other medications to help him will caused many consequences like constipation, kidneys, liver n etc. I heard at one time from KZfaq, a lady rushed out and said, “What has happened to your boss”

That was such a beautiful video. I'm glad to see that Elvis had love with such a beautiful woman who also loved God. It seems like he always made decisions for others instead of himself. Maybe it wouldn't have worked with Ann or maybe it would have; she believed in God as he did and she could have prayed with him and helped him have more accountability in his life instead of drug usage to cope. She seems to be the only one who really spent time with him without his entourage; he was too late after his divorce because Ann had met her life long partner. Many times people don't marry their true love, but I'm glad that she and Elvis had an unspoken love still till he died; she had a maturity that none of the other women had.

Yes, Ann-Margret was his greatest love, all the way up until the day he died. Too bad it's been kept so hush-hush. It would have made a great movie, but also very sad one. Thus why I cry every time I see "Today, Tomorrow, and Forever", the beautiful love song they'd sung together, and so raw with love and emotion. You'd have to blind as a bat to not see the love they had for each other. This song was so perfect for them, more than most people realize.

To think now days there have been famous people that have publicly stated very crude stuff about their Ex. There is no class anymore. Who was the singer that recently asked the question out loud in an interview if his Ex’s new partner can taste his €%#&!!? When he’s with her? What class. Americans have lost manners, decency , honor, and class all in the name of hoping for thousands of “Likes” or “Retweets”.

@@MZic-xb7jx Maybe you should read " Destined to die young". Elvis had MAJOR health problems from birth. There is WAY more to that story. His mom, Grandma Doll & 6 of his 8 uncles all died in their 40's. He took perscriptions to deal with his Genetic health problems, his enlarged paralyzed colon, Glaucoma, Antitrypsin Deficiency, a condition which can result in lung and/or liver disease both of which he had severely at the time of his death. Elvis was never a smoker or drinker. He had Together with the immune system disorder, hypogammaglobulinemia, which plagued Elvis all his life and caused him to constantly fight various infections. His “inherited” weak heart, reactive arthritis, and the impact of his nocturnal lifestyle, resulting in a lack of vitamin D, the effects of which contributed to respiratory infections, reduced immune function, and inflammation. Of the 11 bodily systems that operate to keep us alive and hopefully healthy. Critically, Elvis suffered disease or disorder in nine of them! And five were present from birth and pre his fame. His heart (circulatory system), his lungs (respiratory system), and his bowels (digestive/excretory systems) required medication. Insomnia affected his nervous system……His immune system was compromised. His urinary system was not functioning properly. At one point there was even talk of dialysis. Often he is dismissed as just another rock ‘n’ roll drug addict. He wasn't taking street drugs. He was taking perscriptions not to "ESCAPE" h was taking them to try to maintain some sense of normalcy as himself in a time where the medical field was limited. No DNA, Genetics, No MRI's, little known about the addiction, his dystrophy & No understanding of Vitamin D even. Looking at the illnesses and disorders, that mounted upon each other over the decades, it’s no coincidence that Elvis’ prescription drug use increased as his health declined. From ear infections to chronic tonsilitis to recurrent flus to eye infections and glaucoma…..these arguably insignificant ailments independently, grew into something more. As his body broke down, alongside multiple immune system disorders and genetic complications, prescription medication and his handy PDR tried to fill the gaps. When that no longer worked, hospital stays became the norm and his list of ailments grew. The sicker he got, the more prescriptions he was prescribed. He was seeing a cardiologist before he bought Graceland. He was 20yrs old. They have gone through Elvis's entire life of medical records & now have an entire different story now. This is all the facts Geraldo & 20/20 never stated.

Probably the same thing that happened being married to Priscilla, but possibly even worse. Ann-Margret had her own problems with addiction, and that would have been terrible for both. She talks about it in her book. Also he never wanted a wife with a career, and certainly not in show business. Also, Elvis would not change his ways for anyone. They loved each other and remained friends, which is probably exactly what should have been.
