No more dust! Anyone who has cut laminate flooring with a table saw or miter saw knows how much dust is created every time you make a cut. The body of the floor plank is made of some type of engineered product that gives off a super fine dust that fills the air and hangs there for an extended period of time. I've always wanted to reduce this dust and finally found the answer.
The Robert 13 (model 10-63) is a guillotine style flooring cutter that uses a heavy but sharp blade to slice through the material you're cutting. It does a good job on laminate, and since this video I've used it to cut vinyl plan flooring and it does an amazing job. Such a good job I'd say if you're installing vinyl plank flooring or LVP this tool is hands down the best way to make straight cuts.
