People are talking about failing a test, but if this is the case then why didn't Garcia fail any tests prior to the one he took on April 19th when he actually training? We know the test results take 72 hours to come back so a test taking on April 19th wouldn't come back before the start of the fight on 20th, but are people arguing that he was taking PED's just for few day's before the start of the fight and not for the majority of his training camp? Could Ryan have been sabotaged just before the fight (purposefully contaminated food/drink, etc.)?

Anyway, testing should take around 72 hours tops. Not almost 2 weeks. I think what will happen is they will eventually state that it cannot be shown conclusively that Garcia used PED's as opposed to somehow having been contaminated by them, and then they will try to create a rematch where Devin's promotion will sell the fight by insisting that he will win "this time with no cheating".

It’s not really that crazy bro. Boxing is scored by rounds. My scorecard has Devin winning 2-6 8 and 12 that’s 7 rounds. Ryan won 1 9-11 that’s 4 but the rounds he won were all knock down rounds except round 1 so I had Ryan winning by a point or 2. Most people are just focused on how bad he was damaging Haney in the rounds that he won but Haney won more rounds because Ryan was damn near running to retain energy for those explosive rounds.. so 112/112 isnt THAT crazy. Before you call me a Haney fan boy. Rewatch the fight and keep score (unbiased) give or take a round… you’ll have a similar scorecard to me. Ryan wins by 1-3 points which is a closer fight than what you remember seeing.

Pita is right, Ryan tested POSITIVE, HOWEVER, there is a small possibility he never consumed anything illegal or had absolutely nothing to do with the Positive test. When some testing facilities administer the test, the individual who administers the test can 100% TAMPER with the sample. It doesn’t matter if they seal the samples, put seal proof labels on the packages, the samples can still be tampered with. Unless the test is administered in front of multiple individuals, including the athletes team and delivers the results on site, immediately, there will always be that small opportunity for samples to be tampered with. Ellie, if this is your position I agree with you.
