What I love most about Robert Plant is knowing that he is a God, but he behaves like a subject! It's friendliness, charisma and humility personified! The more I know, the more I fall in love! Long live!♥️

Well I was backstage with him and I was only trying to bump my hubby's arm to let him know that Robert was standing right behind him (while Lon was saying "well I guess he's not going to make it") and I guess I seemed a little intrusive, because he turned and looked at me and... if looks could kill! He stopped me dead in my tracks. Sent a chill down my spine. And needless to say, we didn't get to meet him that night. We weren't cool enough, because of me bumping Lonnie Carter's arm. LOL. I hate to say I judged him, and dismissed him as not a nice person then, but obviously I did. There was a fake plastic LA couple fawning over him before us (in a sort of meet and greet line) and they got to meet him. He cut out right before we had a chance to even say hello. (We wouldn't have fawned over him, even though we were HUGE fans because the greats tire of that treatment and we had met enough by then to know that.) Meanwhile, the absolutely coolest guy on the planet, my hubby, Lonnie Carter, didn't get to meet him because he judged me. Go figure. 100% true story. And he would no sooner remember the exchange than an exchange with a fly. I know this, but it did happen. Such is life!
