Yesterday's Gone is a song written by Reeves Gabrels and Robert Smith and recorded exclusively for ULYSSES (della notte), an album by Reeves Gabrels. The recording is copyrighted (1999 and again in 2000) and is the intellectual property of Reeves Gabrels. In 2016 Reeves Gabrels made the album available again for digital download or on CD via CD Baby (search Gabrels and Ulysses at CDBabyDOTcom. The first time I heard a song of the Cure I felt like I've finally found myself. I wish I could've have discovered this wonderful music earlier. But one thing is sure now: the cure will be always under my skin.

I hate to burst all the Cure fans' bubble, but this is NOT the Cure. This is a track off Reeves Gabrel's under-publicized album "Ulysses." Robert Smith guested as lead vocalist and co-songwriter. Of course, Reeves became a member of the Cure, but it was not until 15 years later.

This is a great song. Know it's not the Cure, but it's 1/3 of them and a pretty significant 1/3. Reeves guitar work is awesome. And the way Robert stresses and intonates the lyrics to make them all sound different even when they follow the same pattern is very skillful and subtle. No mean feat, and not easy to copy either. 10/10.

my favorite song in the whole world. when ever im angry or sad i lay back and listen to this song and my whole world pauses for 5 minutes and 19 seconds. Thank you Robert Smith. I dont know where I would be today if it werrent for your music.

Okay I'm being Captain Obvious here but: Robert Smith has epic musical arrangements and lyrics. Listening to him and the Cure since they came out, so it's for life.
