I thought my tag was long. That Misfits 7” is too cool. That 3 Songs by Fugazi is the only Fugazi that I have. I would be afraid to invite Patti Labelle fearing she would want to sing. I remember when Bowie died MeanMr Mayo did a video the only Bowie album he owned was ChangesOne. If you only have one Bowie album maybe you don’t need to do a remembrance video. I didn’t have any Eagles albums until the 2000s. I bought all their studio albums up to Hotel California.

I'm game, so... 1. Carol Pope double album radio show. No date, but newest song is the dub mix of Undercover by The Stones. So not new. 2. Last record was Angel With A Lariat by k.d. lang. 3. Speaking of multiple albums. Guided By Voices or King Gizzard. 4. Since I'm a kid of the 70's. That's my vote as well. 5. Manchester? As in Melissa? 6. Frank Zappa has been my most listened to for years now. 7. I finally went through my 45's. Turns out i got just over 600. And still buying them. Best was finding School's Out. Wasn't expecting that ending, like wtf happened there? 8. Grace Jones. Marc Almond. Alex Lifeson. Dean Ween. 9. Myles Goodwyn of April Wine 10. Still picking Canada, eh! 11. I don't watch you tube. 12. Nirvana's Incesticide 13. I don't know why i don't have any funk albums. 14. Black Sabbath's first album, and Black Sabbath's Technical Ecstacy. 15. The Waitresses - Wasn't Tomorrow Wonderful? 16. I have no new videos. Because my camera finally broke. And i have no idea, but something on this channel about Pet Sounds. 17. Polvo - Exploded Drawing 18. Led Zeppelin's In Through The Out Door. It should be a VR experience. 19. Steve Miller's Book Of Dreams 20. 1974? That sounds like research. Um...whatever Zappa albums were out. Well that was fun.

"Fly Like an Eagle" and "Book of Dreams" are way up there with my most listened to albums.

I just jammed out on Betty Davis' self-titled LP yesterday. It still surprised me as I started listening to it the first time (months ago) to read on the back cover that Neal Schon played on reportedly 4 out of 8 of the tracks on that 1973 album. Honestly think he played on 6 out of the 8 listening to it though. This would have meant he did this work between the time he and Gregg Rolie left Santana and formed Journey near the end of 1973. I bought all of those Betty Davis archival series LP releases as they came out in 2023 plus a 2021 release of Nasty Gal from those Light in the Attic releases. Very cool indeed! Brian in Fort Worth 🎶
@RobertFithen7 ай бұрын
I spent a lot of time with those reissues. I'm not sure why "Nasty Gal" wasn't reissued. It's listed on the side panel, but it didn't happen.
@Bootradr7 ай бұрын
@@RobertFithenI know what you mean regarding Nasty Gal. I'm not sure why that one wasn't included in the Archival Series releases? And like you said, they even had a catalog number for it on one of the new LPs if I remember right. Who knows? I was able to get a new, sealed copy of the 2021 LITA reissue of Nasty Gal for a good price from an eBay seller so I got that. I did notice that one of the other Archival Series releases had a 2021 LITA date on it. So I'm guessing they started working on these releases back then? And there was definitely no OBI-like piece on Nasty Gal either. It wasn't part of the Archival Series with a volume number like the others.

I've heard of the Frightners - I heard about their "Nothing More to Say" album, probably back around 2016. That's probably when I first heard about Daptone Records because I always associate the Frightners with The Olympians - another band on Daptone with sort of a 60's - 70's Motown feel - sort of a Rocky soundtrack vibe. I got both of them on MP3 download. The Frightner's reminded me of the Specials but I missed the new album.
