Little side note,when people die with their eyes open you can’t shut them,I was with my brother in law when he died from cancer and neither me nor my sister could close his eyes,the nurse came in with a rolled up towel to stick under his chin to make his mouth close,and she had a little chuckle when I told he we were trying to close his eyes she told us you can’t as well

not having scouts out they fell victim to buck fever. if they were professional soldiers they would have had a perimeter established with an over watch . they didn't , so they were at the mercy of Hollywood amateurs.

For me, this is the best Robin Hood movie of them all. Interesting to get into the recorded history of "Robin Hood". My sense is that after watching various researches on the subject combined with my intuition is that there really was a man behind the myths and stories. More details about his life will eventually come out--just as we're learning about our real history as Humankind. It takes those who are sincerely wanting (and will only settle for) the truth.

Well, interestingly there was an outlaw around that time in England by the name of Robert Hoade, ( pernounced "Hode".) He was an outlaw duing the 13th century, and was noted as his time as an outlaw lasted for only a year, and as to what became of him, I cannot remember. And also around that time, there was a song in Scotland, I believe, that made named references to two men named "Robin Hood" and "Little John." The dates for these as you can imagine are hard to pinpoint and do somewhat overlap, so to say what the real history is - If Robin Hood was a real man, or if the name sprang from a man of with similar sounding name, like Hoade for example - or if rather he was merely a figment of imagination that grew over time, I guess nobody will ever know. I cannot say I personally believe he existed, but I wouldn't be surprised if perhaps someone with a similar sounding name is where the legend came from, and as far as his exploits, well I have a feeling like with many legends they grew and were taken out of context as time went on, and I have a sneaky suspicion that the real "Robin Hood" was not as honorable or as noble as the legend makes him out to be.
