We had become truly sick of Bill Clinton protecting his own reputation more than our country, and all Hillary did was enable his cheating. George Bush Sr. had been the most recent conservative President, and more Americans wanted a return to that instead of politically-correct Leftist garbage. Unfortunately, W's first term quickly grew insanely out of control after the 9/11 attacks...and with each passing year, his failure to capture or kill both Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden aggravated most Americans. We became desperate and disillusioned for someone - anyone - to do better...and the Left jumped to make sure a Muslim sympathizer got elected by calling anyone a racist who stood against him. I actually considered voting for Obama, back in 2008...until I saw him promise abortion activists free reign if they backed his campaign. Instead, I found myself voting for two people I didn't really want as President (McCain and Romney), just to get Obama out...and now we have Trump. I think he's an egotistical blowhard a good portion of the time, but he stands his ground, and is pursuing changes I believe in.
