How to drive an automatic car ? Is it easy to drive an automatic car ? whats the difference between an automatic car and a manual car? What are the types of automatic transmisions available in various cars. In this video we are learing how to drive an automatic car easily.
Nowadays people prefer to buy automatic cars rather than manual shifs beacuse the automatic transmissions ease the drive. In manual gearbox cars, we have to put an extra effort to manage the clutch, very difficult to drive in traffic and so on. The automated gear systems made the drive easy. The clutch functionality is fully controlled by a computer program, and uses hydrualics or electronic actuatuors to shift between gears. In this video, we are going to learn the basics of drivig an automatic car.

Totally wrong, nobody is telling you to drive fast, but if somebody thinks that the road belongs to his/her family and everyone should follow him/her is not right. If you want to drive slowly, go by one side, not blocking others. This is what's been followed by all developed countries. You will know when you drive in foreign countries

Are there any technical advantages (not on fuel economy) to the AMT gearbox (life of transmission components) from disengaging gears (shifting to Nutral) at traffic stops?

Yes... Since its controlled automatically the transmissions will be done in a controlled manner giving more life to the components.. In manual transmissions people use half clutch in traffics which gives more load to the clutch plate causing more wear and tear..

For manual car when we park, we put handbrake and first gear or reverse gear. Is this possible in automatic also? Will it be fine if kept in D or R and handbrake?

Drove an automatic Sunny in Dubai many years. There the automatic cars don't come down backwards when you stop in a height/bridge. Without adjusting you can take the car to the front. Now I'm driving an automatic Sandro. I experienced the problem once. Car was coming backwards. Manual driving lessons from UAE helped me. I did the hand break adjustment and escaped from the embarrassing situation.

I think 'p' gear is available in cars like amaze automatic etc and not just in mercedes or BMW . If 'p' gear is not there , isn't it dangerous ? That in slopes when parking whe have to trust the parking brake alone . Handbrake ine mathram viswachichu engene valiya kayattathil okke park cheyyuka??

Pls let me know that, if I am blocked at a signal waiting point. A lot of vehicle behind and front. Should I apply hand gear and, when the green light signal comes, and should I follow to apply on the auxilator and in meantime to release the hand bake as well. Or signal waiting any other solution is there. Pls describe the matter. Thnk u.

No need to apply hand break in traffic, use only pedal break in traffic...Hand break is to climb hills in time of traffic.

Good explanation regarding how to manage when vehicle when it stops at uphill. Thank you🙂 One query- On an uphill and if the vehicle is stopped and we apply handbrake and if we try applying accelerator in a controlled manner before releasing the hand brake, will there be any problem for the vehicle if the amount of acceleration got too much before the hand brake got released ?

Thank you for watching..! We should learn to control acceleration in uphill, it might not be an issue if we over accelerate for two or three instances, but definitely its not a good practice to do soo...

Super ..!! I have been using automatic car for 5 years. When i used both legs on a hilly road, an unusual beep sound started with a flashing red indicator.....! (Dont panic.....it will disappear after a couple of minutes....) You have explained the right way of using handbrake in such situations......!!THANK YOU....!!! Subscribed......
