ഒന്നും അറിയാത്തവരെ പൊട്ടന്‍മാരാക്കുന്ന വീഡിയോ എന്നുവേണം പറയാന്‍.. ആദ്യത്തെ തള്ള് കേട്ട് വീഡിയോ നോക്കിയതാ.. 5മിനുറ്റ് നോക്കിയപ്പോള്‍ തന്നെ വീഡിയോയിലെ പൊട്ടത്തരം കേട്ട് മതിയായി.. ആദ്യം പറഞ്ഞു ആക്ടീവ, ഡിയോ പോലുള്ള സ്കൂട്ടറുകള്‍ക്ക് ഗിയറുകള്‍ ഉണ്ടെന്നും ഓട്ടോമാറ്റിക് ആയി ഷിഫ്റ്റ് ആകുന്നെന്നും.. എന്നാല്‍ അവയ്ക്കൊന്നും സ്പീഡ്-ടോര്‍ക്ക് വേരിയേഷന്‍ ചെയ്യാന്‍ ഗിയറുകളില്ല. പുള്ളിയും ബെല്‍ട്ടും ഉപയോഗിച്ചുള്ള CVT സിസ്റ്റമാണ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്... അടുത്തത് ഹാന്‍ഡ് ബ്രേക്കിനെയും പാര്‍ക്കിങ് ഗിയറിനെയും പറ്റി പ്രധാനമായി പറയേണ്ട കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ വീഡിയോയില്‍ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല. വീഡിയോ ചെയ്തയാള്‍ക്ക് അതിനെപ്പറ്റി ധാരണയില്ലായിരുന്നു എന്നും മനസിലായി. ഹാന്റ് ബ്രേക്ക് റിയര്‍ വീലുകളെയാണ് പിടിക്കുന്നത്. ഹോണ്ട സിറ്റി ഫ്രണ്ട് വീല്‍ ഡ്രൈവ് ആയതുകൊണ്ട് പാര്‍ക്കിങ് ഗിയര്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതു വഴി ഫ്രണ്ട് വീലുകളെ ചലിക്കാതിരിക്കാന്‍ സഹായിക്കുന്നു.. എന്തുകൊണ്ട് രണ്ടും ബ്രേക്കും ഉപയോഗിക്കണമെന്ന് പറയുന്നത് എന്നതിനുള്ള ഉത്തരമാണ് ഞാന്‍ ഈ പറഞ്ഞത്. പക്ഷേ ഈ കാര്യം വീഡിയോയില്‍ ഇല്ല. ഇനിയും വീഡിയോ നോക്കിയാല്‍ കുറേ മണ്ടത്തരങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടാകും.

മാനുവൽ ഗിയർ ഷിഫ്റ്റ്‌ ചെയ്തു ഉള്ള ഡ്രൈവിംഗ് ആണ് ഡ്രൈവിംഗ്.. അതിന്റെ സുഖം ഒന്ന് വേറെയാ.. പക്ഷെ ഓട്ടോമാറ്റിക് ഓടിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.. ഇപ്പോ അത് പഠിക്കാൻ പറ്റി.. Useful video

Also if you are parking car for a very longer period, (like what happened in the time of lockdown period or you are on a vacation) its recommended to disengage the hand brake. If the handbrake is engaged, this can jam the brake and the tyres . This suggestion came from one of the car manufacturer during the lockdown period. Also there’s a change in gear shift for Kwid like AMT vehicles. In AMT vehicles, the vehicles doesn’t move unless you push the accelerator and you also feel the gear shift which you do not feel in automatic cars.

Good ! Nicely explained. As you said, it is the best practice to pull the handbrake first before putting in P. It is important to put in P only after the car is completely stopped. If someone tries to shift from D to P without applying handbrake while the car is about to stop, it will stop with a jerk and some times result in damage of gear. ( As the brake pedal is pressed for stopping, the lever will move to P)

You hav not said a drawback While overtaking another vehicle automatic car did not get the speed comparing to manual one. People use to give more pressure on accilator which will consume more fuel In Honda City there is blinking lights while driving blue and green if u keep on green on giving pressure on accil your fuel consumption will be more

s is for semi automatic and not for any extra power. In city you can opt it for using paddle shift. Others have +/- option for the same

good work !! you didn't explain about the shift lock and the gate type which doesn't need to press the button to change the selector.. you city has a straight line access but other might have a gated approach.. i think these confuses quite a lot of people.. some cars needs the click the lock ever to move to N or back to D.. that also needs to be mentioned..

Hi, I'm planning to purchase a Nexon AMT version. I noticed in the videos related to the car, hqving as you said a "N", a "R" & a "D". So while on flat road, the car is to be parked using the hamd brake & placed on "N". But am I to still keep it on "N" while parking either on a uphill or downhill? I'm confused about AMT.

Whenever you change the gear, even to P, the breaking pedal should be applied. During the shift the break acts as clutch.Hence the load factor is not coming in Parking gear as you said. The autogear shouldn't be changed when the car is moving except shifting to S or L. Between D and S shifting can be done when moving. Remember, only that shift is permitted.

Hai, Congratulations, you are doing a keen description... what you said about parking is perfect, but how to begin the drive has required slight modification... what i feel... it should be like this,,,, apply the break... shift the gear to R/D after that only you should release the hand break.... otherwise again you are engaging the 'parking lock'...?! right..? If I am wrong correct me....
