Maybe it's because I've watched the old episodes of Bootleg Zones too many times, but I seriously keep expecting each of these toys to start singing "You're the La-Love of my Life" or Gangam Style every time you fire them up, and I find myself disappointed when they don't. If I'm not mistaken, the design for Robocop was partially inspired by a Japanese Tokusatsu show called 'Space Sheriff Gavan'? Would probably explain the 'Space Patrol' aspect of this bootleg. I can't help feel a little nostalgic with these cheap knockoff toys as they were a staple of local shops when I was a kid.

I guess that scene from RoboCop 2 where Cain is chased by Robocop on a motorcycle is probably what inspired these bootleggers.

The robocop toy makes me think of an old fashion cartoon where something pulls its crotch up to avoid crashing.

I think that this toy is a mix of Robocop and Super Sentai from Japan. You can definitely see some Japanese influence in that motorcycle design. Truly whacky. Robertcop for the win! He’s the best bootleg ever! Always enjoy your toy sketches!
