Rock Crawling in the Sherp???

We took a quick trip down to Moab Utah to check out some of the trails and scenery. It was fantastic! We were really impressed with how the Sherp handled the terrain that day. We thought we broke and axle on the X3 but turns out it just separated the inner joint, maybe too much droop, may have to run limiter straps. It was an easy fix anyways. Too bad as Mrs. Osta was having a blast piloting it up the trail and would have been great to see it try some of the harder stuff near the top. Gives us an excuse to go back I guess lol. I have to admit, I thought the Sherp would outright suck in Moab, I was shaking my head when I saw that it was your ride choice heading down there on instagram. Yet again, I am blown away by this silly thing and how capable it is. Excellent video as always!

@@elevenAD that doesnt mean anything. same engine is used also in lawnmowers. its all about the design of the vehicle. if sherp doesnt use Kubota engine, they can use another. no problem

Awesome. I love watching your Sherp in action, and comparing it to my steel tracked Argo. The Sherp definitely has an advantage climbing over tall debris, and my steel tracks will slide on bare rock. I can match the Sherp in mud or snow, but these rocks are harder. A lot of that I could do with the tracks removed, but those steep ledges would still be a problem. I do have a Rubicon, which could do that, but I give the Sherp the win, as it is the best vehicle I have ever seen for all terrain without modifications. The scenery there is spectacular. Thank you for the excellent video.

For the cost of a sherp compared to an Argo I'd hope it'd do better. It's amazing what it does but you could buy an Argo a jeep and a quad

Great video Osta! You're pulling at my heart strings with some killer footage of how incredible the terrain is out west. It's one of my biggest dreams to move out west to be closer to the rocky mountains and that awesome slick rock! Great work as always.

Great vid. My favorite thing about the sherp is it just goes. No spotting or slowly crawling like in something like a Jeep. You just point and hit the gas. Awesome.

Loved the video! A lot different than the slop you're normally in. I enjoyed it so much that I was disappointed when it ended and didn't realize it was a half an hour until I read the description. Lol. Thanks for sharing.

Works great. The view from the top was awesome and for you amazing I’m sure. The drone view was def a nice touch. Looking at my atv or your sherp out in the wilderness is surreal when I think what if I didn’t have my vehicle. The rig = security out in the wilderness. Cool vid!

Had my F150 on a road trip and stopped in Moab on route... Hit a couple trails... Smashed the hell outta the bottoms of my doors... Bent the shit out of both bumpers but man it was a good time!! Hahaha

This is the best and most entertaining video you've ever made in my opinion! I've been sayin' for years that you need to get out of that swamp and come see what real rock crawling and trail riding country looks like. I'm just mad I left Moab too early....I was on Top of the World about a week before you rode it. Would have loved to see the Sherp in person. It looked like it just demolished that trail. Fyi, there were two lifted Jeeps with 40" tires on them the last day I was there, and I'll bet I waited 20 minutes for them to finally get up that first big ledge before I could go. The Sherp didn't even need 5 seconds to get up it! Crazy. That trail is a handful on an ATV, btw. But I'll bet you already knew that. lol.

This answers some questions I had about how well a Sherp would perform in the Canadian Shield we have here in Yellowknife. Now I want one even more! You should come up here and take it camping. Rock, swamps and lots of trails. 18 hours from Edmonton... off roading at midnight but still light out.

I can't believe she just walked up and looked down the cliff. I'm not afraid of heights but watching other people do it scares me. My buddy did a backflip on a ledge hanging over the Grand Canyon. I almost crapped myself. That Sherp is badass. Those tires just swallow the trail.

Awesome! I did the Top of the World on my Motorcycle...what a trail and what a view at the top! Moab is well worth the trip! Wanna try a hard one...try the Rose Garden! LOL! Hope you picked up the maps and book to plan your return trip!
