I made the Rock Hammer hidden inside the bible from one of my favorite movie of all time, THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION.
Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) is sentenced to two consecutive life terms in prison for the murders of his wife and her lover and is sentenced to a tough prison. However, only Andy knows he didn't commit the crimes. While there, he forms a friendship with Red (Morgan Freeman), experiences brutality of prison life, adapts, helps the warden, etc., all in 19 years. Most of all, he managed to pull one of the greatest escape of all time...è

I have to say, this is absolutely incredible! This is my wife's all time favorite movie and she would die to have this. I went so far as to take her to the old Ohio State Reformatory on one of our first-date anniversaries (we celebrate every year) where parts of the movie was filmed and we did a self-guided tour. The tunnel that's used in the movie is on site as well as the warden's office, etc. Thanks for sharing :)

Marvellous job sir! And congratulations on not only managing to track down a copy of the actual Bible, but also on having the patience to dig your way through it! Just one thing old sport, and it is in no way a criticism, but....as you added Andy's message for The Warden, added just prior to his escape, shouldn't the hammer appear worn down? Just a thought sir!

Thanks Alan. I was actually debating whether I should just do it worn down or, like the actual one that we see in the movie. Since we don't really see the worn one in the movie (except for a picture) I decided to go with the actual screen used one from prop store. Cheers!

You have done an amazing job on that. The weathering in particular really makes it look perfect. Good job on getting hold of the bible it must have been the hardest part. I have seen the film several times but only just noticed that the bible opens up on exodus. A nice little joke

i could be wrong, but the bible is in the end-of-movie state, but the hammer matches the hole exactly. red said, it was worn down. the spiky end of the hammer should be smaller than the hole. still, excellent job!

@@DaBuild Like I know how to use any of that equipment.. the only thing I could make is a mess and then I would have to clean it up!! I would aim to make a hammer.. end up with a spanner or a screw driver!!

@@violet-kittychick Well, then you'd be learning something. Everybody fails before they achieve smething. Please, don't be scared of failure. Failure is the most important part of the process. I failed and broke some many things. You have no idea.
