You must be sick... to say that Rodri is better than Sergio Busquets. Even Casmero is better than Rodri. Rodri is too basic and predictable. He is surrounded by the best team. Rodri would never bench Busquets or Xabi Alonso. Even Marcos Senna was better than Rodri

Calling him a "defensive midfielder" is UNDERSELLING him. Rodri is literally the WHOLE MIDFIELD and more. City looks completely different without him. He does EVERYTHING at such an elite level

Que jogador , tenho 30 anos e comecei a acompanhar futebol de 2005 pra cá , acompanhar que falo e entender melhor, venho de uma época em que se passava poucos jogos internacionais no Brasil só quem tinha Tv acabo que naquela época era muito difícil tinha condições de assistir jogos internacionais como a liga italiana , inglesa e espanhol nem a liga alemã eu não me lembro de ver jogo naquela epoca , porém na casa dos meus avós tinham e eu passava o final de semana assinado os jogos , quero deixar um comentário de alguém que acompanha realmente futebol e não que assiste um ou outro jogo da liga dos campeões ou que vê só melhores momentos no KZfaq eu realmente acompanho as ligas e os jogos pois sou apaixonado em futebol e digo não vi nem um primeiro volante tão eficiente e completo em toda minha vida como Rodri e olha que vi pirlo , viera , Gilberto Silva , rafa Márquez entre outros , e digo nem um cumpre tão bem a função como Rodri , ele domina a cabeça da área e começa o jogo por ali , tecnicamente ele é como um 10 clássico , joga de cabeça erguida , conduz a bola como poucos jogadores eu vi conduzir ele não olha pra bola vai só dando tapa de peito de pé e carregando , um absurdo quem jogou bola sabe que só os gênios conseguem isso . Resumindo ele marca bem , domina o espaços de campo no qual joga , bom de cabeça , chutes de fora da área , arma o jogo , se movimenta como se fosse um jogador rápido porém é lento com a bola nos pés , tem passes longos , curtos e triangula bem quando preciso . Olha o melhor e mais completo primeiro volante que eu vi jogar ! Superior a Busquet e a Casemiro . Se o Barcelona quer voltar a ser o Barcelona deve então começar com Rodri ! Ele é a cara da Catalunha .

@@juliusadeyemi1119in terms of skill, Sergio is absolutely better. But in this position, Rodri is more advance i think. He has more power, he can shoot, he can defend better, he's more agile.

@@peterkenneth9251since when are DMs assessed on scoring goals? His job was to be defensively astute and bring calm to the game. And that’s exactly what he did. There’s been multiple games this season where Rodri has failed in both of those categories, the biggest being the 4-4 against Chelsea.

Aston Villa equalizer, winner against Arsenal, CL final winner against Inter, player of the tournament in both the CL and Nation's League. They're both equal defensively, but Rodri has a knack for goals which sets him apart. Currently, Rodri has now scored more goals than Busquets had in his entire career and Rodri is just getting started. He's not yet hit his peak

Busquets can't even score goals to save his life. Rodri has currently scored more goals than Busquets did in his entire career. Not forgetting the important ones he scored for City (equalizer against Villa in final day of 2021-22, the winner against Arsenal same season, against Inter in the CL final)
